And I spent 2 hours on the other 8 picks and nailed 80% (by the way, it doesn't take nearly 2 hours to type these up. 40 minutes at most).

Scal, I can't believe the Warriors opened at -13 against the Jazz. That is an absurd number even if the Warriors cover it. They were favored by 14 against the Blazers at home and the Jazz are a much more complete team. I'm just pissed because my teaser only gets that number to -7 (which is still a lot).

GSW is likely going to be the public play given their dominant performance in the first round. Hence it is not a surprise they get such big numbers, which could be 1~2 pts higher than it should be. After all the line is made to split money and reduce risks.

The line is used to split money in theory only. If the books could get 50% on every side of every bet they would take it every day of the week and make the vig (and probably charge -112/-113 to exploit us even more).

Jazz  are a solid team. And they've had a ton of pent up frustration against the Clippers over the last several years as the Clips have really drilled them and this core.

Well I knew that all along and ignored it at the worst time. Sorry to all who tailed (sacker etc.). We won't go cold. I will do everything possible to avoid that. It's .500 and we move forward with wins.

That's also what I meant. Sometimes the line splits money evenly on both sides. And if it that cannot be done, bookmakers need to inflate the line to reduce their risk of losing on public plays.

To my point about the absurd line, Utah lost 10 games by double digits this year.

Guys the lines not inflated the Warriors will have have had 8 days rest vs the Jazz 2 days plus the grueling 7 games series and Gobert not at full strength thank god the better team won this series just imagine what the spread would be vs the clippers we saw today like -19 and -6000 lol

Thank you for your kind words Sports Network. And you are right, I know nothing about capping games, because I don't cap  games, because you don't need to. For all NBA games I flip a coin. And yet somehow, a miracle I guess, I win as often as everyone else does.

I sure do see a lot of threads started by people complaining about cappers, about sharps making wrong pics. I never see anyone complaining about they flip a coin and lose. Because flipping a coin would go against every logic there ever was about gambling. How do you know flipping a coin don't work??? I'll keep flipping my coin, you keep spending your time on capping. I worry when teams have had that many days off vs a team with 2 or 3.....teams that have been just shooting around in practice tend to start slow so I'm inclined to take the points in game 1
