Gonna start up doing the write-ups on every game like I've done in the past. Will try and do it every day as I know it does help some people in here getting different views. If I don't have the time, they won't be done!
Cleveland vs Charlotte
Screams out letdown game for the Cavs. Big home win against a tough team in the Nets, now going on the road to face the lowly Bobcats? Even though the Cats lost by double digits against the Rockets, they didn't give up. Will see what the line movement does...if it stays where it is with the public big on the Cavs, you gotta believe in the home team.
New Orleans vs Orlando
Line was set right where I figured, but the total seems high to me. Orlando is playing their third game in four nights...and the Hornets certainly didn't excite many people in their opening game. Only thing that could ruin that is if the Hornets get over 100.
Philadelphia vs Washington
OK, so the Sixers had an impressive first game. The Wizards did not. This line is purposely set to have everyone and their mother jump on the Sixers. The Wiz don't turn the ball over and the Sixers obviously took advantage of a sloppy Heat team. This is screaming "DO NOT TOUCH"
Toronto vs Atlanta
I liked Atlanta in the first game and they failed me...I liked the Raptors in the first game and they came through. Just too tough to pick a team in this one with two incredibly inconsistent teams. Gonna stay away and see what happens...is Toronto good? Is Atlanta bad? Gotta wait and see
Milwaukee vs Boston
I would have put the Bucks as the favorites in this game. I can't argue with the Celtics being favorites in this game. These are two of the potentially good bad teams in the league, and the lines are set perfectly. Gun to my head I would lean under.
Dallas vs Houston
I would set this line at Rockets -9.5 and O/U of 205. We will see what happens tomorrow

Line seems just a bit high for me. Three possessions is a good deal in most NBA games. Detroit came out in their first game and impressed as they should have with their new players. I think their inside presence with Monroe is enough to hang with the Grizz...who struggled big time against the old Spurs.
Oklahoma City vs Minnesota
Huh? I love the Wolves this year, and am a little more down than most on the Thunder...but do they deserve to be favorites this early? I am really liking the OVER here as I had it set at about 205. Wolves want to push the pace with Rubio and Love...Durant can score at will against this team
Miami vs Brooklyn
Leaning towards the OVER in this one. I can see the Heat wanting to lay the smack down and regain their confidence. The Nets are in a tough spot here after losing their opening game. They will have to get into a run and gun type of game unfortunately.
Portland vs Denver
Another game where I absolutely need to wait a game and see how it plays out. It's hard to believe the Blazers are that bad. Obviously the public is hammering the Nuggets...and I want to as well...but I just have to wait.
Utah vs Phoenix
Enjoying the under in this game. I don't agree with the Suns being favored by this much in the game. I strongly believe that their first game may have been a fluke...and the Jazz competed well with the Thunder...but this should be a 90's type of game from what I can see.
LA Clippers vs Sacramento
First look screams over. Clippers just done with a very fast paced, up and down game against the Warriors tonight and their defensive game will be down tomorrow. Doc Rivers is a strong defensive coach, but most of all he coaches to the abilities of his players. He doesn't have a KG and Rondo on this team. Might want to ride the overs for a while until Vegas adjusts.
SA Spurs vs LA Lakers
I would put this one at Spurs -6 to -8 and the total at about 204-206. We will see where this ends up

I'm not sure if the Pistons have the overall talent offensively to beat the Grizzlies, but I have a good feeling about them keeping it close. They only went 7 deep against the Wizards in the first game...but certainly have more depth than that. The biggest reason I like the Pistons is they are a good rebounding team and can bang with the Grizz down low. Prediction: Grizzlies 95 Pistons 91

Detroit Pistons +7.5 ($110 to win $100)

Gotta trust that this will be a defensive battle with two defensive minded teams. I think the Nets will absolutely try and slow this one down and make it a half court game. They know they can't run with the Heat with their older legs.
Prediction: Heat 96 Nets 90

Hawks underachieved in their first game and the starters had a terrible +/-. The Raptors beat a bad Celtics team at home by dominating the boards. The Hawks shouldn't be as bad on the boards as they were against the Mavs. I think Horford and Milsap will get the job done inside tonight. Prediction: Hawks 98 Raptors 93
