Washington Wizards  (1.1 to win 1)

Not a huge fan of the bet...but all the numbers are pointing me in this direction.  This game/situation is similar to the Nov. 30th/Dec 4th games where the Wiz were blown out on the road to a superior team (lost 108-87 to the Knicks) then returned home as a double digit underdog against the Heat and surprisingly won the game.  I don't know if teams just expect them to lay down or what...but the Wizards are very good ATS on a B2B...won that only home game as a double digit home dog...and the Thunder are playing their first game of the year as a double digit road favorite.  Thunder were also in a similar situation before Christmas when they had a good solid road win against Atlanta, then came out the next day and lost straight up to the Wolves.  I'm not saying the Wiz can win this game straight up, but I have a feeling it will be close.

Prediction:  Thunder 103  Wizards 98

I'm scared as hell to take WAS ats as well but numbers do lean that way. It puts me a little more at ease seeing you on the same side. My projections even say I could sprinkle a little on ML but that's absurd!

Going a little outside of the box with this one...

Paul Pierce Total Pts. +9 vs. Carmelo Total Pts.  (1.1 to win 1)

Pierce has outscored Carmelo in the last three matchups against the Knicks, including blowing up for 43 points in their last meeting last year.  Their duels have been fantastic, and this one really shouldn't be any different....Pierce 43 Melo 35...Pierce 34 Melo 25...Pierce 30 Melo 26.  Rondo loves to drive and kick, and there is nobody that will stop him on this Knicks defense.  Pierce should get plenty of open looks.

Prediction:  Melo 32  Pierce 28

rondos out which really hinders bostons ball movement, pierce will be working alot harder for those points.

I got to go against you on Washington just dont see enough talent or will power to compete with OKC and lets not forget the Skins lost last night so the mood is grim in DC look for OKC to win this one around 118-92

and you think the wizards want to get blown out on b2b  nights......im sure this was discussed in the morning shootaround.......i know they suck but they played miami within the the 11 vegas gave them until late third early fourth and then miami clamped down their defense and went on a run........imo i dont think they get blown out here in this spot but its just a hunch nothing solid to go on..........gl

The Redskins ' defeat has zilcho to do with tonight's Thunder/Wizards game, lol.

I can't imagine the Thunder are pumped up enough to bury a 4-26 team on a Monday night in Washington. The Wizards, on the other hand, will compete tonight on the heels of last night 's embarrassing finish, and knowing that they don't play again until Saturday. The effort they give tonight will be the taste they have to live with all week, and that alone will push them to make sure it's not a bad one.

San Antonio Spurs -9.5 2nd Half  (1.1 to win 1)

Question obviously at this point is whether or not you think the Spurs are going to win the game.  Well the fact that they had 11 turnovers in the 1st half is the reason why the Hornets are up.  I don't see that happening again.  I also don't see the Hornets shooting 57% from the field.  Would have loved to take a 3rd quarter bet, but none of my books are offering that right now.  I'm smelling something like 31-19 in the 3rd quarter and a fairly balanced 4th quarter
