Split my NBA picks thanks to the Heat pulling a Spurs and resting their stars...as soon as I saw that I knew my 1st half OVER was dead in the water.  Unfortunately was out at the time, couldn't do anything about it!  Rough weekend for CBB as I was off with every one of my Elite 8 picks. 

Detroit vs. Toronto -

Two shltty teams...no play.  Gun to my head I'll take the Raptors at home as I think the Pistons put their last shred of energy and effort into the Bulls game last night.

Cleveland vs. Atlanta -

I hate the Hawks...and the Cavaliers have been playing beyond terribly the past couple of weeks...but a double digit spread here?  I have a sneaking suspicion that the Hawks will cream puff their way through this game and end up blowing it.  1-3 ATS as double digit favorites this year.  Lean towards Cavs

Charlotte vs. Milwaukee -

The Bobbies have snuck in a couple of covers in their past couple games despite being big underdogs.  Lean towards the UNDER in this game as I can see it being pretty much the same type of pace as their last meeting.  Bucks up about 20 going into the 4th quarter, then just put it in cruise control.

San Antonio vs. Memphis -

Hmmmm.  Wondering if the Spurs will possibly rest some of their guys tonight.  Certainly don't deserve to be 6 point underdogs IMO even after a B2B game.  Will have to wait this one out...nothing really sticking out to me.

Orlando vs. Houston -

Without Harden, it's hard to see the Rockets being able to get over the 100 point mark.  It's now 4 straight games being unable to crack that number, which matches their longest streak of the year.  The other one was at the very start of the season when they were still looking for an identity.  As usual a majority of the bettors are jumping on the OVER quickly...under the impression that the Rockets will be able to get to their usual 110-120 number at home.  Magic have also been competitive on the road as of late covering 7 out of the last 10 road games.  Small lean towards the Magic and the UNDER.

I think I will have to wait it out and see if there is any confirmation of Spurs resting players or why they are 6 point doggies.

Boston vs. Minnesota -

Without Pierce in the lineup this is a no play in either direction.  I've watched every Celtics game this season, and their bench is incredibly inconsistent.  Jason Terry could give you 4 or 24...same with Jordan Crawford, Avery Bradley, Courtney Lee.  Jeff Green will step up, but I'm not sure it will be enough.

Portland vs. Utah -

Lean towards the Jazz in this one.  Blazers have lost their way without their star player...and if the Jazz can win by 10 points in Portland, I would peg them to be able to win by 15 or so points on their home court.  Total seems to be set just about right as I have the Jazz winning 108-94. 

Indiana vs. LA Clippers -

Pacers are 19-11 SU vs the Western Conference, and 17-11 ATS.  First home game back for the Clippers after a tough road trip where they lost 3 out of 4 games only beating the weaker Hornets.  Clippers will also be without Matt Barnes in this game, who I saw as kind of an equalizer of defensive intensity against the Pacers.  Might not seem like much of a missing piece, but he gives you 20 solid minutes and some fouls...and the Pacers aren't great at shooting free throws ranking 18th in the league.

Orlando vs. Houston UNDER 202.5  (1.1 to win 1)

Might as well jump on this one now since it's dropping fast, and a vast majority of bettors are still pounding the OVER. 

Prediction:  Rockets 103  Magic 87

Utah Jazz -9.5  (1.1 to win 1)

Blazers just don't have a solid team without Aldridge in there...and the Jazz at home should be able to roll.  Gotta keep up with the Lakers!

Prediction:  Jazz 107  Blazers 91

the only thing i am afraid of with Houston UNDER is if Harden is actually out.  It says he is questionable for today's game?

Jazz are hot. 

Liking the picks... But today's games are really awful.more like, vegas seems to me like stronger wall right now.

to your Spurs - Grizz writeup::

Ginobili, Leonard and Duncan are all out due to injury.
Spurs have not many to rely on and players have to play more minutes. After that game against Miami last night they wont be able to hold up with the Grizz in Memphis

Ginibili, Leonard and Duncan are all out for tonight due to injury. So other players maybe have to play more minutes that they expected and i dont think that they can hold up with the Grizzlies in Memphis after that game against the Heat.

The rockets played 4 tough defensive opponents and that's the reason they didn't get to 100. The magic are abysmal defensively. 

cm u have any intrest in celtics/minn game without pierce and garnett I would say this is a easy win for minn -5, but i think that going with

minn 1st half -3 is a great bet boston was in ny, then travel to minn. bradly playing crappy only person i am worried about is greene
