0-4 last night...first time in a long ass time I've had a night that bad. It wasn't just the fact that I lost every game, it's that I wasn't really close on any of them. Gotta stay positive and remember that the hot streak will come back...and also realize that I am still up a decent amount of money for the year.

You have to just accept the fact that the NBA will haunt you sometimes.. These guys just dont play hard enough sometimes. we are all better off just betting on CBB, at least they play hard.GL...

Tin...I usually wait until the conference games for some college action...and for me CBB has declined in the past couple years as it has become essentially a "one and done" league with all the freshman coming and going.

New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat OVER 201.5 (1.1 to win 1)
Out of all the options on this game, I feel as though this is the best. Both teams were clearly looking forward to this game...as they struggled big time against the Bobcats and Wizards respectively. The Knicks were able to squeak out a win and the Heat lost. For the Heat to win this game, they need to find a way to shut down Carmelo reasonably...which means LeBron has to cover him. When that happens however, it means the other guys generally get more open shots. In the games that Melo has put up less than 25 points (which I think happens tonight) the OVER is 5-0-1 (with last night's game that they clearly cared nothing about). In those games, the other players on the Knicks averaged 11 three's per game. Throw in about 20-25 points from Tyson Chandler who the Heat have nobody to cover him with...and the Knicks should find themselves right around the 100 mark.
Now generally on Thursday nights, the home team has struggled to cover. The Heat have struggled to cover anything in the past ten games...only 3-7. Mostly IMO it's because of their lack of passion on the defensive end...giving up 100+ points in 10 of their 16 games. They only gave up 100+ last season in a total of 16 games (3 of them in OT). You can call it a championship hangover or whatever...but the big picture is that they are 21st in PPG allowed...21st in Steals per game....24th in Blocked shots. EVERY time they have faced a top 10 offensive team they have given up 100 points...no reason to think that stops tonight. Now I do think the Heat have a strong chance to cover this game as well on their home court due to the revenge factor and the fact that they are a little bit more rested coming into this game than the Knicks. However, it's not strong enough of a feeling from me to warrant a pick...just the OVER for me here.
Prediction: Heat 109 Knicks 100

With the highest score from last year being 190, Chalmers out and Anthony severely injured, I don't see this game of even having a chance of going over.
You are one of the few cappers on here that I actually respect and I'm going to say this because of that reason alone. I think you are putting too much stress on specific days of the week. These NBA players and teams don't live week to week lives. A Thursday to them is no different than any other day. They practice and play everyday, each day is no different than the next. It's just one game at a time.
Although, you are still profitable this year, so maybe there is a method to your madness that I am not aware of. I hate when people tell me how to do something, so if you are the same then sorry.
I do wish you the best of luck, as (you probably already assumed) I am on the under.

Knicks & Heat played 3 times last year.
Game 1 - HEAT ( 99-89 )
Game 2 - HEAT ( 102-88 )
Game 3 - HEAT ( 93-85 )
