1-1 on Monday, winning day overall, only had a push with the Heat/Jazz second half thanks to Mario Chalmers missing a free throw late.  Oh well, still getting back into a good groove.

New Orleans vs. Philadelphia -

A lot of people on the Sixers early, but the line is moving more in their favor...will definitely have to watch this one closely.  Line should be closer to 5 or 6 just about...and there really isn't much that really attracts me to this game.

Indiana vs. Charlotte -

Both teams are finishing up with a 3 game in 4 night stretch...Charlotte coming off a loss to the Celtics where they actually played pretty well at times.  Kemba Walker did hurt his ankle, so that might limit him a bit.  Initial lean is big time towards the UNDER...both teams will work hard to get to the 80's

Toronto vs. Brooklyn -

Really tough to pick against the Nets right now...especially with one of the worst road teams in the NBA.  Line is a bit high based on the rankings and the past history between these two...Nets have won by 7 and 6 in the first two meetings with totals of 207 and 182...and as usual that number should even out nicely...and I would lean slightly towards the OVER in the 193-196 range.

LA Clippers vs. Houston -

Hmmm type of game in this one.  Houston struggled to say the least on their road trip but they only have this game against the tough Clippers before heading back out on the road.  Clip show got a big time win against the Grizzlies..but have been inconsistent on b2b games.  Will wait to see if the line does anything funny...and as with any Houston game, you have to lean towards the OVER

Portland vs. Denver -

Best home team in the league with the Nuggets, but a possible look ahead game to the Thunder tomorrow night.  Blazers will get a nice little home stretch after this game, and might be pumped up to get the job done.  Line has started off pretty even, and the total seems a touch too high right now...initial lean would be Blazers

Milwaukee vs. LA Lakers -

Lakers have really struggled this season following up big wins with another big win.  Bucks still looking to get out and run, and will have every opportunity to do that.  Initial lean would be for the OVER, as the Lakers will be able to put up 110 or so, and the Bucks can score themselves.  As far as the spread, I will have to wait and see what it does....look ahead potential game for the Lakers as they have Miami coming up

I try and get an initial thought on the game without doing much research, then come back the next day and see what looks best

Brooklyn cover the -6,5 with Toronto, Brooklyn win with the defensive team Indiana by 11...and Toronto away from home is crap.Brooklyn in my opinion win easy..

LA Clippers vs. Houston OVER 206  (2.2 to win 2)

Houston has had two days off to put the crappy road trip behind them...which means they are back at home and ready to challenge the best team in the NBA.  Last 5 home games for the Rockets are averaging 219.4 points per game total...and with the Clippers defensive abilities, the line should be closer to 210-213 IMO...I will jump on this one early and see how high it gets by game time.  CP3 being out is obviously a factor in this one, but the Clippers are the deepest team in the NBA, and they put up 99 against the Grizzlies last night, who are a damn good defensive team themselves.  I think the run and gun offense of the Rockets might even push that number up a little higher.

Prediction:  Rockets 112  Clippers 102

CM, i feel the same way about this game by throwing ML in an overnite exotic, only to see the reverse line movement this morning ,i then learned that some services are giving out HORNETS so it leaves me a little skeptikal about 76ers ,both teams probably gonna play at turtle pace and tough defense which would favor the puppy, but HORNETS  win SU in philly?? i hope not GL!

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Hornets won SU...but it wouldn't surprise me if they lost by 20
