I do feel bad for him. In a way, he is a victim of Green getting himself tossed from the finals in 2016, just as the Warriors were. Warriors never would have needed him if Green had not swung at LBJ’s nut sack. And Curry would not have to wait all these years to prove the naysayers wrong. The 73 win team would have defeated a stacked Cavs team, Curry would have won the MVP, and that Warriors team would be one of the greatest teams in NBA history.

They had another game on home ice with Draymond. A game 7 for a ring at Oracle. They lost. Stop acting like the Warriors would've still won with Harrison Barnes instead of KD

We will forever disagree on this. Warriors were rolling and had all the momentum after game 4. You simply can’t deny that fact. That has to count for something. The suspension flipped the series, simple as that. Everything turned out differently, including Bogut getting hurt in game 5. Without Green and Bogut, the Cavs had an open invitation to drive to the bucket.

And to all the rest of the Warriors fans in the forum, I'll say this. I spent some time lurking in Celtics social media during these playoffs. All kept reading was, "We're the better team. We're just being ourselves." Or, "I know we're the better team. We just have to play better."
I said, "These dudes sound delusional." I then realized this must be how we sound when talking about 2016. Let's get one thing straight. No matter how chicken shit that suspension was, we lost Draymond for one game. It takes four games to win a Championship. We lost three straight, two at Roaracle, including a Game 7 where Draymond played they best game of his career. We were beat fair and square. That was a good Cleveland team. Truth be told, they probably would have beat us in 2015 if they had Love and Kyrie. We even made Matthew Dellavadova look like an NBA player. That was a good Cleveland team. They beat us.
We need to appreciate what this win means. We need to savor it.and we need to leave 2016 in the oast

I think the Bogut injury was a bigger factor. Injuries happen.
They beat us four games though. Draymond missed one. They best us for games.i get the momentum factor but the beat us four games. Blew us out in Game 3. They best us fair and square.

I’ll give you this, the Cavs saw an opening and took advantage. Fair and square is going too far. We were never winning game 5 without Green and then Bogut who got hurt. We were never winning game 6 in Cleveland. It wasn’t happening. Remember Curry and his frustration with the refs?! Once Green got tossed, it was likely going 7, especially after the Bogut injury, and everyone knew it. The league needed to extend that series beyond 5 and they did.
Add to all this the fact that Kerr was coaching hurt, he had back surgery that year and was suffering from terrible migraines in the middle of games and should have recused himself in hindsight because he was visibly in pain, squinting and rubbing his head throughout that run!! And Curry, who was having a fabulous year, hurt himself in the Rockets series and was never quite the same. If you recall, with a chance to tie or go ahead in game 7, Curry, who was at the peak of his powers, couldn’t even take Kevin Love off the dribble or get any separation from him!! There is no way Curry doesn’t put Love in the popcorn machine if he is fully healthy.

Kevin my the biggest mistake of his life by leaving GS "obviously" . He couldn't get along with Green and green has the last laugh in a big way. Durrant and Irving leave and they get swept! That's gotta kill them and certainly lowers their value but the truth is 2 guys aren't enough and the Nets did not have enough good players.

If Simmons can turn it around and the Nets somehow get to the Finals and face the Warriors next year, that would be epic.

i pity KD. he just wanted a better situation, and found it in GSW (imagine playing with westbrick all those years must have been absolutely frustrating for him). as good as gsw was, lets face it... KD made that team godlike. GSW with KD was the best team ever assembled in pro basketball EVER. there was no way to win against that team... also, KD gave gsw wiggins and gsw wouldn't have won this ring without wiggins.
so yes, KD went for the easy ring... but don't make it sound like he was a bum free riding. without KD, gsw might not have won their last 3 rings... maybe 1 or 2 or none, who knows. KD is right, he is being discredited

KD doesn't look all that great anymore if you ask me. And I'm a huge KD supporter being a Longhorn alumn, and paying in my fair share. He just looks emotionally dejected out there. I'd take Luka over him any day. Luka and Kyrie by themselves could win a title........just sayin'

I think he always looks dejected. He's so introverted, and has also seemed in his own head. I think the kid has some form of emotional scarring or something.

I have always felt this way. KD has always seemed like that introverted kid that's good at a sport, or anything, and just gets lost in that thing. I have heard Draymond say more than once that nobody enjoys playing the game of basketball like KD. In a very pure way. Like a kid playing a game. So while he is a great, and obviously every great wants a ring, I don't think he was thinking, "I'm going to get a ring." I think he wanted to live in a place like the Bay Area, and he wanted to play a pure form of basketball after living in OKC, and playing with Russ, under Billy Donovan. Billy Donovan was good at Florida. Absolute trash in the NBA.

Lots of you are forgetting when KD got hurt Raptors beat GSW for the championship, if KD was healthy I highly doubt Raptors would’ve have won, KD was needed for those GSW championships.

Legacy is such a talking point. He is best offensive player I have watched outside of Kareem and maybe Hakeem. I’m terms of really no way to stop him from getting his shot. Obviously it depends on time you play.
I can’t stand his personality or ability to get so butt hurt always but pure basketball he is a nightmare.

bullshit, warriors were never beating the raptors even with healthy klay, probably not even with healthy KD. People overrate the KD warriors like crazy, don't forget that same team got pushed to game 7 by rockets and got lucky with CP3 getting injured, and then not to mention spurs with kawhi out injured in 2017, they were down 23 focking points in game 1 before warriors pulled their dirty card in ZAZA.

They went to six games with Klay and KD both missing games. Klay was in the process of taking over game 6 on both ends of the floor. Anything can happen in a game 7. The pressure shifts to Toronto. Agree to disagree. The Warriors slept through a half against the Spurs and people really believed that Spurs team had a shot.
The Warriors always sleepwalk through halves and even whole games. No way they beat the Warriors in a 7 game series. The Rockets relief too heavily on the three ball. It was there undoing, not the CP3 injury. And do we even need to bring up the lucky bounce it took for Toronto to even make it that far?
That was a really good Toronto team. They deserved to win but I sincerely believe that hadn't Klay went down, the Warriors win Game 6 and a good chance they win game 7. Klay missed an earlier game in that series. KD essentially missed the entire series.

spurs didn't have a shot? that spurs team won 61 games for god sake, it's more like people think the KD warriors was invincible when they were clearly not. Spurs blown out The warriors twice in regular season as well and once in playoffs before kawhi got injured... it's comical warriors fans think spurs didn't have a shot . Your team is FAR FAR from being invincible, and spurs definitely have a legitimate shot to knock yall out. Here comes the excuses with sleepwalk, your team got blown out fair and square before kawhi got hurt, and there's no way spurs would lose that game 1 if kawhi wasn't hurt, and then the series was very live if kawhi remains healthy rest of the series.
As for the rockets series in 2018, don't tell me the 3s was the undoing of rockets, they had the BEST offensive efficiency in history of basketball in that season, plus BEST RECORD in the season, ROCKETS was the best team in the nba in 2018, and they had warriors down 2-3 before their 2nd most important player got injured, CP3 the floor general. So, don't sit here trying to tell me rockets would of lost even with CP3 not being injured, they had the BEST RECORD for a reason and the been the best team all year long.... so it's only logical to think Rockets would advance had CP3 not being out, again, best team for that season for a reason.
Following year, 2019.... I highly doubt warriors would of won even with klay being healthy, he was healthy for like 4.75 games of the series he played, and the 2 games they won was very focking close and could of easily lost, and all other games klay played they got blown off the floor literally, the margin was not close, so there's no focking way i believe warriors would of won with klay being healthy.. even if warriors game 6, don't forget game 7 was in toronto, huge advantage to the raptors. As for KD, nobody will ever know, everyone can speculate, but the warriors in 2019 wasn't the same dominant team, I think they had major issues heading into the playoffs, and they shown it in previous series as well, like blowing 30+ points lead vs clippers and what not..... that warriors team in 2019 wasn't the same and got major chemistry issue. So, I can't sit here and say Warriors clearly would of beaten the raptors with KD being healthy, I'd rather put my money on raptors even with kd and klay being healthy. That raptors team was sick, and the sereis vs sixers was the NBA final to me, that team was tough as fock... lucky bounce or not, that would of been going overtime even if it didn't go in, don't act like raptors would of lost even if it didn't go in.

I stopped reading after you said that Spurs team won 61 games. The Warriors we're the #2 seed that year, which meant the Spurs were a #7 seed, and probably won somewhere around 45 games if I recall.

The one game the Spurs won that season was late and the season, Steph, Klay, and KD sat out. Nice try. Everyone knows that if Klay and KD weren't injured the Warriors win in 5. Everyone knows this except Raptor fans. And it is my personal belief that even if just Klay was healthy, the Warriors win in 7. People forget that Klay missed a game in that series before his subsequent knee injury.

go look it up, lol you are mistaken 2017 to 2018 spurs, lol. the year Spurs had kawhi was 61 win season, jesus dude, go look it up before you question me. Spurs up 23 points or something was with KAWHI 61 WIN SEASON. The season warriors wiped the spurs in first round was 2018 season, where they didnt have kawhi, complete difference, totally different season. The season i said was 2017 where spurs had kawhi, and they had winning record with the KD warriors with kawhi, and blown them out a few times, so to say they have no shot is ignorant. In 2018 rockets being the best team year, spurs was irrelevant, cause Spurs didn't have kawhi all year, and they faced warriors first round and got swept rightfully so.
