2). 18 points 18 rebounds and 10 assists is sub par?
Who else in the league puts up those kind of numbers and gets criticized? Answer.....noooooo....bod.....eeed!!!!!
3). Folks forget his teammates ask to be more involved...and lbj to his credit tries to get them involve
Noone.....not Kobe ...not mj.....not duncan....not Parker......wins a title alone
Lbj even remembers.....I averaged 35 points vs Orlando and lost...so ball hogging and not playing with teammates is not the winning formula
Lebron came to Miami for "guaranteed rings." He came to win. He took an
understaffed Cavs team to the Finals. Now in Miami he, along with the
team, is expected to NO LESS THAN 3-Peat!
We're in the Finals. The regular season is over, but during the regular season the team had a 27 game winning streak. Only a dominant TEAM can do that. That being said, there were a lot of expectations coming into the post-season for the Miami Heat.
You can't argue his numbers. His numbers are pure sex on paper. Expected though- he's been called the best player in the [history] of the world. And he is going to go under the knife after every loss. Looking past the numbers though- we should examine him during do or die situations. When you're in the Finals- no- especially when you're in the Finals at home and your team just blew, what looked like a victory- it's up to you to delegate and assume a leadership role. Yes, passing and rebounding and defense are part of that role.
Lebron had 6 points (2 arguably in garbage time), 4 rebounds and a Turnover, oh and 1 Assist in the 4th quarter.
1 Assist! His team managed to score 7 points in 9 minutes of the 4th. Flip the f_ckn' switch KING!
His team wasn't cutting it. They asked to be involved. They were involved (in futile attempts.)
Time to assume the role of a champion...wait for it, wait for it...still waiting...This tripe double means nothing. Maybe he should've saved his eighteen points for when it mattered. 18 points after averaging 26 in the post season. Sub par for the best player on the planet.
Especially in a 4 point loss. Blowouts are cool when the stars are aligned and your entire team is wearing their lucky socks, rabbit feet and 4 Leaf Clover Pins, but close victories brought on from sheer determination and the desire to WIN is a lot more showing.
Granted from 2006-2011 he attempted 12 game winning/ tying shots- and that's on pace to have more than Kobe. I'll give him credit when it's due. Case in point, the Orlando series in 2009. He played extraordinarily. Throughout his career so far he's been ripped apart for not having the clutch gene. He's done some work in late games- yes. He's also shy'd away from many opportunities. It's not built on nothing.
"I saw LeBron before the game and I asked for $1. He gave me 75 cents. I
said where’s the rest? He replied i don’t have a 4th quarter."
"How do you know it's LBJ's birthday?"
"Everyone gets to leave 12 minutes early from work."
These didn't pop up out of nowhere.
I don't hate him. I just want more for him. Ha...
He averaged 27pts 8 rebounds and 8 assists in the win streak, by the way. "The King" needs to play great.
Stop flopping. Start winning.
Exercise greatness...!
