but titles is a team thing...not an individual thing

In my opinion, LBJ NBA resume and accomplishments will be on par with the greats to ever play the game

He needs the right complimentary pieces as did the other greats to get a ring

My point is this.....this clutch stuff is OVERBLOWN and the team concept is undersold...Celtics had the better team and being clutch only gets you so far

Clutch is not the be all and end all to determine who is a champion....who was more clutch on those Celtics teams....hmmmm

The clutch thing is media driven to help keep the hate up on LBJ who (LBJ that is) helps them to pay their bills as he is easy to write about and hype b/c of his fans and his haters....if (when) he gets a ring...the story goes away....unless someone in the media finds a way to keep the hype tag on him....Thats what they do...and I am sure they will find a way to keep the hype on him

The NBA is a stars league and always has been its no coincidence that most of the championships ever won were by the all time greats, yes u need helpt but please an nba championship has more to do with the star than the role players

and another thing u bring up all lebrons historical performances and say watch sportcenter the biggest lebron slurper of all, u failed to mention all of kobes historical performances like 13 straight 40 point games 5 straight 50 point games and i can go on and on as well but of course ur doin it to benfit ur argument

2nd to jordan in 40 pt games

and its funny cuz sportscenter brings up lebron has 13 str8 25 pt games in playoffs  didnt kobe have like 15 str8 30 pt games in playoffs couple years ago en route to title

Oh yea and is alot more respected around the league than lebron

You got some of what I said...but not all of what I said

To me Wilt Chamberlain was a a superstar..superstud..etc..etc..

Jerry West...was a superstar...superstud

Their careers are not (sub-par) becuase they lost to better Celtics teams in the Finals

Jerry West is considered Mr, Clutch and is the logo

Wilt...well we all know is Wilt

You and many others have seemed to buy into the media hype that helps them to pay their bills

They created the narrative...LBJ is NOT this....LBJ is NOT that...media needs someone to help them drive the interest in the sport....keep you and i debating...there is noone in sports today that helps them pay their bills more so than LBJ

And while they have not dog in this fight....trust me...they want him to lose again, again and again

But back to your point about the numbers

As you can tell I am an LBJ fan (smile)

And I do not concede that his numbers will be mute and inconsequential once all is said and done

1st of all....he will have more career points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks than kobe, michael jordan, etc..etc..(SF, and SGs...will not have superior numbers than LBJ

2nd he will challenge Kareem Addul Jabbar for the all time scoring title....media keeps talking about who is clutch...but they are not saying that LBJ came into this league putting up buckets at an age and rate that will pass Jabbar...trust me...Jabbar knows this ...Year before last Kareem did an interview and was dissappointed that the league allows 18 year olds to come straight out of H.S......he didn't say that when Garnett, Kobe, McGrady, Howard and others came into the league...they was not a threat to his all time scoring mark....LBJ is a threat...and he has his eye on him

3rd...even without a title...LBJ has gotten better every year he has been in the league.....follow me on this....he went from rookie of the year....to leading cavs in pts, rebs, assts steals and blocks...to getting cavs...THE CAVS to the Finals by himself...YES...by himself.....to regular season MVP...to two time MVP.....to being All NBA defense....being 2nd in voting for defensive player of year....to being the most efficienct basketball player in NBA....being most efficienct basketball player in NBA for at least 4 out of the top 10 nba seasons in nba history....to being a three time MVP....and now getting to the Finals in back to back years with no solid rebounder on the team (LBJ the small forward leads the heat in rebounds)

Yes, titles mean a lot....BUT...LBJ when it is all said and done....numbers will show that we were watching a modern day Hank Aaron in basketball

Don't let your love for your favorite player today (kobe, durant, etc) or your love of a player from yesteryear (MJ, Magic, etc) fool you

LBJ's numbers are special and something we have not seen before

I can't remember who said it....but what we are witnessing with this guy is   25%  JORDAN....25% Magic....25% Oscar Robertson and 25% of something we have never seen before
