Dude, just stop. I'm a big LBJ fan but his play in games 1 and 2 are clearly not MVP material, he is so passive and doesn't wan't to take over. I saw a lot of chances where in he could have driven the ball to the hoop but instead he passes it.

Lebron could average 40 a night if he wanted too. These are the Finals and he realizes that if he doesnt play defense and get his team involved they will still lose.

Wow, very refreshing to have a Heat fan who actually is not senseless. Agree with everything you say. Lebron is awesome, but he wants no part of the big stage. That is why he passes instead of taking it to the rim. In game 1, the Heat were down 4 with 50 seconds and he crossed over, had only Tim Duncan to beat, and passed the ball to Bosh!. This is also why he is great sometimes defensively. He does not have time to think about the big stage on that side of the court, so then his athleticism and basketball IQ takes over.

Not to detract too much from russell, but these things must be put in context. There were basically 8 teams in the league for a period of the time and u only had to win a couple of series to win ship. Also, litlle player movement free agency so the best teams stayed together for extended periods.
