I've lurked here for a long time, and I see some of the more respected cappers will have a great POD record like 7-2 or 6-0, etc
So what I'm gonna do now is try to play the "most obvious" games and double up each bet after a winner. You could call it a long term parlay. The difference is the books don't take a lot of juice in this big parlay and we'll reach a consensus on the best bets giving us the best shot to win.
I did this last year toward the end of football season and middle of the NBA, turning $200 into about $9000. Yeah I needed a lot of luck, the Seahawks in the nfc championship almost killed me and I bet some NBA teasers that won by a point or two only. But I did it.
Now I'm making this thread to try and do it again, get only the best games, bet one per day maybe, and see what happens. If nobody likes/agrees on a best bet on a certain day, then no bet.
I'd like to see other people participate, just start with 1 unit and see where it takes us. Go to a calculator and multiply your unit by 1.8-1.9 a few times and you'll see the power of doubling up.
And if we lose? Well you only lose 1 unit. Big whoop you've lost worse, and since I got the $9000 I have too.
Of course nothing is guaranteed in betting so I won't promise that we'll go on a 5-0 run or a 7-0 run. But if we/I do, you'll be sorry you missed out.
I'd like to hear from other people if anyone else has made a post like this and what the result was, or if you've tried it yourself and what happened.
