Los Angeles Lakers (Series) -360

Good evening fellas 

Is this pound worthy material?  Bad bad match up for the Suns playing a Laker team that is expected to easily advance.  Should I wait in this until the Suns (assuming) get a win and then bet at better odds

Lakers did well vs suns in the reg season...  hard to say what will happen in the west finals though, suns have been red hot but so have the lake show..

Lakers will be up 2-0 Idk when you're going to get better odds. I see Lakers ending this one in 5 or 6

betEd hasn't put out a series price yet, but I would love to hammer the lakers if it is within reason.

So what is your line? Something like:

Lakers -360
Suns +260

What a ripoff. You can have the Lakers for -280 on matchbook. Please don't lay -360. Hell, if you wanna lay -360 on the Lakers, I'll book your action.

5Dimes has Lakers -310, Suns +255 and Suns +6.5 and 211.5 for game 1.

I think the Suns have a chance here -- just like the Lakers provide matchup problems for the Suns on defense, it's not like the same isn't true in reverse.

Doesn't anyone think the Suns can win more than a game or two?  Sure, "logic" says Lakers should win, but Suns are playing well and hard, and I would (or will) bet that they will have at least have a chance of stealing one of the first 2 in LA, even if no one in this Laker forum will agree with me.  How will 7 day layoff affect these teams?  Does everyone think Lakers blow out Suns in game 1?

I do give the Suns a shot and I think it will be a good series.  I think Odom is the key to this series.

Suns  +270

 

Nothing worse then seeing line movement NOT in your favor in a matter of minutes

I originally had the Suns winning the western conference .

Also, I had Orlando winning the eastern conference.

I used a popular forecaster's powerline to determine the winner.

Game #1 Phoenix by 6

Game #2 Phoenix by 6

Game #3 Phoenix by 12

Game#4 Phoenix by 12

Per the powerlines, Phoenix will sweep the series.

Note: Powerline Data

Base Powerline Phoenix 108 LAL 99

add 3 points for homecourt advantage.

Overall Average Scoring Margin Phoenix 5 PPG LAL 5 PPG

(They are tied)

Well it opened at -360 so it can have room to drop down to -320. If it opened at -320 theres no way you'd see -280 prior to Game 1's tipoff.

I've been in way too many situations like this where I have waited it out...next thing you know, the line jumps from -315 to -400

I think the Lakers win the title

Just like they couldn't beat them in 2006 and 2007 huh?

If you think the Lakers will win, why don't you just put the $ down on exact odds (IE Lakers to win in 4 games, Lakers to win in 5 games)

At least you'll get much better odds than taking a series price such as that.
