lost $5000 bucks and out of cash, need help please

when you get yourself into a situation like this, what do you do.
ran out of places to get loans, and check advances place are calling you night and day. you get laid off from your job, and your unemployment check hasn't start yet.what do you do now.
i know i have a gambling problem already, but how do i pay my bookies and loans? need advices

Call Gamblers' Anonymous and talk to loved ones.

No sense in throwing everything away for money.

You know dude, money isn't everything but it can take it away if you let it.

I'm not trying to be a smartass here but you need to learn money management. If you're taking out loans to gamble, you should not be doing it the first place.
 
How do you pay back your bookies and loans? Can't help you there buddy. Maybe others similar to your situation may be able to help you out.

work out a payment plan with your bookie.. or get  cash adavance from cc which one of my friend does but he stop gambling after he got into so much debt with cc. he working just to pay off his debt from gambling..sometime he play once in a while to get money but i cap him at 2 dollar each week since i don't want him to get in more debt.
 
only way is get payment plan with your bookie or go find those close friend and ask them to spot you. (this is when you know who is your real buddy =))

Seriously ...   Step back and take a deep breath.    It is only money... 

First step -- Stop gambling and get things organized.  Write all your thoughts on a piece of paper....

Talk to your neighborhood priest or clergy man.  Even if your not a religious person, it is someone to talk to and push you into the right direction.  

Remember you can only pay what you have ...  Write all your bills on a piece of paper from most important on the top.   And just set-up payment programs.  Check things off as you pay them off.  

Liquidate anything of value you have that is not important to you to start paying loans off....   T.V. laptop etc....

Always remember food and shelter come first though ...

Seriously, I know what you are going through and it sucks ass, but before you know it you will get through it...  You will learn a lot from this experience.   Last thing ... No matter what situation your in always keep throwing punches, never give up....

thanks guys, just been streesed out lately on where the hell i am going to come up with some money, need some quick cash but don't want to do anything stupid. i did alright on football season this year, but this NBA shit is killing me because these guys play everyday,i meant i play everyday.lot of my buddies geet in these same situation so we all are still hurting for cash.some of them i asked, but like you said, thats when you know your real friends and who is who.

stay away from the computer so you can't look up info on the games. a newspaper is not going to give you that much info. good luck.

hey there buddy, i ws in the same shoe last year, ask your bookie for a payment play, he will give it to you, just ask. after that get a job asap, don't sit at home and look up in the sky and ask why is this happening, its happened. action is the best way, work and pay it off. i know ur gonna want to bet, if u are, play small, i went from 200-300 size bets to 50-150. its a tough road but we all been through it, and yes its just money, u can make your money back, make sure ur bookie knows ur not running. gl to you and im in debt myself today, but im working and paying it off.

Great advice:  Seriously call gambler's anonymous  or the website  If you don't have 5 G's to gamble you should stay the hell away.  Sell your extra stuff and don't gamble anymore for your health.   It will be difficult especially during March Madness but YOU DON"T HAVE THE MONEY  remember that..

I know how you feel i have lost thousands week in and week out for about 9 years. I lost 14,000 in one day before. But i have rich parents. I give you two game to win your money back just pick one and your problem is solved. I have been winning alot more because i know how to gamble now.
