Luckychip REVISED NBA Prediction System -- High Win Pctg Expected ... Again

Okay gang ... after three months of major revisions to my system of predicting NBA winners ... I'm ready to give it another try.
 
I know, I know -- bringing a system to the forum is its historic kiss of death ... and there's not a whole lot of season left.
 
But hey, no guts no glory ... so let's just hope fate will smile upon us ... or at least keep the gore to a minimum.

First of all, a word to the wise:
 
MY SYSTEM IS STILL CONSIDERED TO BE "IN TESTING".  DON'T GO BETTING THE FARM ON THESE PICKS UNTIL YOU'RE COMFORTABLE WITH THE TRACK RECORD POSTED HERE ...
 
... AND DON'T TAKE MY OR ANYONE'S WORD ON THE MATTER -- VIEW THE TRACK RECORD RIGHT HERE IN THIS THREAD BEFORE DECIDING THAT THE SYSTEM IS SOUND.

All my analysis is done with the closing line, and the plays hold no matter what the closing line becomes, unless I specificially state a minimum/maximum line.
 
Also, the Strength Rating reflects the number of ways this play was confirmed by my system.  I've seen SRs as high as 13 ... but even 1s have been doing well.
 
And, no, I won't tell you what the test percentages have been, as that would be doing you a disservice, especially if my system falls flat on its butt this entire week.

Would it be inappropriate to ask what the system is exactly?  Not hating... just asking.

It is not inappropriate to ask.

The system is a very quantum mechanical method of deriving the psychology of NBA teams.  By knowing their psychology, we are more likely to predict what they are going to do.

My first attempt at this NBA psychoanalysis turned out to be too classical to be of value, and so a low-level revision was necessary.

Test results have been acceptable ... but when it comes to QM, the old adage "what isn't forbidden is compulsory" remains alive and well ... and I must confess I'm not at all sure that the "forbidden" has been satisfactorily isolated.

Time will tell.

A few people have been asking about the lines I've been using to base my won/lost results.
 
This system is still in testing, and the lines I'm using to grade results are always the closing lines.
 
I have found, however, that seldom do the results for my system's plays vary throughout the day to the degree that a line change sometime between the opening and closing line makes any difference.
 
Indeed, the analysis I use often does not consider the specific line at all but merely the "state of mind" of each of the two teams.
