I appreciate the back my friend. Honestly it is not a problem. I have learned to keep cool when it comes to disrespectful comments. I honestly didn't think anything of it. Sup gentlemen, playing the slate today. Have a feel for each game. Gonna keep wagers flat and easy. Will post a bit early tomorrow. I am traveling beginning on Sunday May 2nd to Nairobi Kenya and to Dubai on the 3rd of May. I am certain I will have internet access at the hotel I just cannot guarantee I will have the time. ATLANTA HAWKS MONEYLINE (-120) - - - Oh I know. It hurts me inside that I am taking the Hawks over the Bucks. This is my first wager on the Hawks all post-season. I am officially a Buck head and I do fear the deer, trust me I do. I just have a gut instinct that the Atlanta Hawks get it done on the road tonight. History is not on their side. The Hawks are losers of 10 of their last 1 playoff games. But trends are meant to be broken and I am sure the Hawks come out and play with tenacity, grit and determination today. The Hawks are a very pompous, arrogant and egotistical team, sometimes that can be a deadly weapon. In Atlanta's case that mentality is their worst enemy. Hawks tend to really dim down their effort when they feel comfortable. It comes back to bite them in the ass quite often. Thus, the ending of game 5. The Hawks missed 7 consecutive shots in midst of the Bucks rally. However, when the Hawks backs are against the wall, I really suspect them to play a much better game. The Bucks are winners of 2 straight at home. However they did lose their last 2 homes games of the regular season...one of them against these same Hawks. Although I did have the Bucks in game 5, I did not expect Marvin Williams and Al Horford to step up the way they did. J Smooth, Double J & Crawford had horrible shooting nights. Mike Bibby was awful as well. The Hawks still had this game in the bag, if it wasn't for a lack of concentration and execution in the final few minutes, the Hawks would have still won the game after a very poor performance. That combined with Marvin and Al's contribution in game 5 makes me think they can easily win this game. Milwaukee is a stellar home team and Atlanta is just weary on the road. But this situation will open Atlanta's eyes. AL Horford has guaranteed victory. They all know it is win or go home, they also realize getting it back to ATL for a decisive game 7 will take the pressure off them and place it right back on the Bucks shoulders. Jennings was quoted as saying that all the pressure is on the Hawks tonight, I think that is bad news for the Bucks as Milwaukee plays better under the gun. Jennings was also quoted as saying that they have played the way they have played because no one has believed in them. Well now no one believes in the Hawks, but this Hawks team is confident enough to believe in themselves. They let one slip and know they have to step up on the road. That pick and roll one pass shot will stop tonight, look for a much more aggresive approach to their offense. They do not consistently get to the FT line, that will stop tonight. They will rebound and play with grit and desperation. The Hawks are still 9-4 ATS against winning teams, 5-2 as chalk and 5-1 laying less then 5 points. I understand the Hawks lack discipline, but they do have heart and pride. They lay down and let a 6 seed walk all over them, if the Bucks want this series they have to prove it with another win in ATL in a decisive and pivotal game 7. Understand I have Bucks in a teaser from last night, either way not looking at a huge loss or profit gain unless it stays withing 1-11. Hawks take flight in Wisconsin.
4 UNITS JAMAL 'THE SIXTH SENSE" CRAWFORD - - -

LOS ANGELES LAKERS MONEYLINE (+100) - - - The Los Angeles Lakers proved to me that when they want to play like Championship team...they can. They play an immaculate game 5. This series has been all about adjustments. Coach of the year on one side, and coach of the decade on the other. Both coaches seem to playing a chess match with each other. Tonight I think OKC's king falls to the more experienced assassins. The Lakers will close out this series. The Lakers are 17-0 after winning game 5. They will not go back to Los Angeles for game 7. That fast-break tempo that was ruining the Lakers were stopped in its tracks last game. OKC could not get anything on the break. Best chess move of all was the switch on Westbrook. Kobe went off Kevin and blanketed Westbrook causing him to turn the ball over and shoot terribly. Kobe surprised the youngster and locked him down hard. I suspect a similar performance tonight. Without Westbrook playing his best ball the edge is not with OKC anymore. Jeff Green has been terrible all series and just does not matchup will with the Lakers front-line. Speaking of front-line workers, Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum ate the Thunder alive in game 5. 58 points in the paint for the Lakers. They finally realized that if they pound it down low, the very weak front-court of the Thunder will not be able to handle them. I understand OKC has won 3 straight at OKC against the Lakers but keep in mind you can't win a championship without being a formidable road team. Lakers know how to win on the road and know how to close out series. In game 4 the Lakers looked a bit old and quite slow, in game 5 after a few days rest they flourished and won the game off of raw energy. Again tonight they are playing with a bit of a rest. Granted it helps them from a physical standpoint but I think it also helps them from a strategic standpoint. They have had quite some time to analyze what went wrong in the first few games. The Lakers looked masterful in their annihilating all the positive aspects that the Thunder had to their game. Thunder had only 7 fast break points after putting up 72 in the first 4 games. The Thunder only made 18 shots after they attempted 80 in games 3 and 4 alone. I have full confidence that the Purple & Gold get it done in Oklahoma tonight.

UTAH JAZZ - 5 (-110) - - - The only reason the Nugs won the game was due to their ability to get to the free-throw line combined with their shooting performance. Shooting 50% from the field and beyound the arc as well as shooting 17 more free-thros then Utah. One I really doubt they can duplicate that superb shooting performance and 2 I do not think they will get the respect in this elimination game in Salt Lake City and out attempt the Jazz in free throws. The loss of Nene is bid. No Kenyon is fine, but replacing Nene with Petro will cause Booz to play on K-Mart and he should swallow the injury plagued former Net. The fact is the Nugs have not been able to stop D Dub and Booz. Both averaging over 50 points a game combined. C.J Miles and Wes Matthews always seem to play very well at home, with contributions from them Denver doesn't stand a chance. Korver and Milsap are good enough to get it done off the bench. The Jazz rarely get out played on their home floor. This is their chance to get out of the first round. They are a stellar basketball team at home and have played to Sloan's specifications all year long. There will be no game 7 in this series, the Jazz man testifies like Bleeding Gums Murphy.

Disappointed you may not be able to post........Agree with all except for Atlanta. Losing a critical game on their home court said alot about this series, about Atlanta. Atanta is horrible on the road in the playoffs. They just lost ALL or ANY momentum they had left too.............They may just get steam rolled tonight

Real glad you are on the Lakers with me, you can call that team this post season for sure. As for ATL, it is all gut. All stats point to a Bucks upset here but I still think the Hawks have to much talent to go out this easy. They want redemption, they just have to play their asses off tonight. BOL buddy.

Mak - I am really liking the Card today. I think all Road Teams win or cover tonight so I am going to play the Nuggets instead of the Jazz even though your probably on the right side..
