TORONTO RAPTORS - 2.5 - - - Despite popular demand the Raps didn't play horrible against ATL even though they were blown out. It was actually a combination of luck and excellent shooting on ATL's part along with a combination of bad perimeter defense from the Raps. Yes Charlotte had a great win vs CP3 and Raps realize this and will be ready. Jermaine actually played excellent vs ATL. 70% from the field, another 3 blocks but mos important he got his offensive swagger back. Bosh was aggressive and pissed the whole game, he will want to get it against Charlotte and will easily expose Emeka and other CHA bigs off the bounce. I suspect 30+ for CB4. Jose and Anthony Parker had a bad output in ATL and they will bounce back as the backcourt along with CB4 will tear the Cats a new one tomorrow afternoon. I am sure of it. One last thing, the Raps are used to playing afternoon games, granted most are in Toronto but they play these 1 PM games consistently. The Cats however haven't played afternoon games consistently, this is new to them and will have an impact early on. Biggest single wager of the season on my Raps.

DENVER NUGGETS - 7.5 - - - Chauncy makes this team a lot better then I imagined, granted they had to claw their way to a victory at home against DAL, nevertheless they did look better. Chauncy Billups looked nervous for the first time ever. I never saw him like that in DET, always had that cockiness and confidence. I liked seeing some humbleness injected into Billups. Will make him a better player. It's only a matter of time before George Carl creates a system that Chauncy can run. With Mello at the wing and a healthy front court in Nene and Martin, not to mention an up and coming athletic SG in J.R Smith this team is bound to make a position play in the West Playoffs. Memphis, young, talented, but tired. Won't stand a chance tonight in DEN. DEN by double digits.

HOUSTON ROCKETS + 8 - - - I know everyone keeps saying Yao is like a 7'6 tree that doesn't move. I understand why you guys say that, his style of play looks lethargic, his offensive moves look childish and he just doesn't look pumped...ever. Um...guys....your try being fuckin 7'6 yo. He looks like that because he is fuckin huge, remember Shawn Bradley? George Meaursean? Manute Bol? All those fuckin giants moved exactly like him, except Yao has a shot, some overall skill and will cause Bynum problems. Ron Ron will cause Kobe problems and T-Mac will have a great game in La La Land. Artest and T-Mac historically play very well vs the Lakers in LA. They like the glitz and glamour and will prove to beta test for the Lake Show.
