In celebration of my first TNT posting this season let me start off by saying that was a tuuurrrrble Wednesday night of action for me going 1-4. Not worried though, just like my Raps, my first quarters are always atrocious, but have the confidence by the end of the game, will come out on top. I really do appreciate all the soldiers that came to my defense when the haters began to hate, it sincerely is much appreciated, but I do implore you to not waste your time, I have learned since 2007 to let the haters hate. With that being said, I humbly apologize to all who tailed and lost money, I reiterate that this is not casino gambling, it's sports wagering and in order to succeed you have to use sound money management. I do find it very interesting that all bashers last night had 20 or so posts and opened an account in 2014, that was very suspect, anyways, looking forward to hitting my stride soon, appreciate all the positive comments despite an abysmal night.
Tonight 3 Texas teams are in action, one with no bench, one with a solid bench and one consisting of a smart coach with championship aspirations this season deciding to rest his two aging players who may be playing their last seasons in the NBA. I do like the Mavs tonight, but the Rose Garden is a tough place to play and placing a wager on the Mavs would just be forcing action on a thin 2 game slate tonight, not going to bite. But I would like to share my team previews on the 2014-2015 Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trailblazers. As always gents, I wish you all the best of luck with your wagers tonight. Peace out - - - MAK

Cuban is not only one of the most versatile, savvy and intelligent
businessmen on the planet, but one hell of an owner. The upper
management of the Mavs know what they did right during their
Championship year and have decided to try and duplicate that this year.
Don't count them out of winning it all, this is the perfect year to do
so, but also one of the most difficult considering the fact the Western
Conference is as good as it has been in years. Bringing Tyson Chandler
back was their first step. This guy has never played better than when
under the tutelage of Rick Charlisle. His defensive aptitude during
their run was a thing of beauty and I see him being the perfect fit once
again, look for him to be the beneficiary of numerous lobs with great
passers on this roster including 4 point guards who will all get time.
Raymond Felton, once healthy will play the combo role, as do most of
their guards, he may not fill up the stat sheets, but will help this
team a lot. Jameer Nelson is not the same Magic player that will score
20+ points a night, that is not his role, instead he will be asked to
play about 20 minutes a game of low turnover ball and make sound
basketball decisions out on the floor. Dirk is just a masterful player,
he has honestly perfected that 18 foot step back, he is so tall and
will constantly shoot right over PF's in this league, he is like a fine
wine that grows with age. Dirk also surprised me by taking a lower
salary allowing for the huge free agent signing of Chandler Parsons.
Now I really do not agree with the amount of money this kid is being
paid, I think there were some better SF signings the Mavs could have
made, but Parsons is a terrific scorer and his offensive ability is what
the Mavs have been lacking for years (other than Dirk & Ellis), he
is a legit 2nd option to Dirk moving Ellis to a 3rd option...and what an
amazing 3rd option to have. As a shooting guard, his size is
concerning, but his will and determination are not, one of the more
durable scorers in the league, he rounds out the Mavs version of a big
three. The bench is where I think this team takes a huge step forward
this year. Devin Harris is a starting point guard in the NBA, his
offensive production will be awesome off the bench this year and his
assist totals will soar with the aquisitions the Mavs have made. Look
for him to get some votes for sizt man of the year come year end.
Brandan Wright has improved his game leaps and bounds, he is such an
amazing rim protector and defensively, a weapon for the Mavs 2nd unit. I
thought Aminu was a very underrated pickup for them this off-season, he
is a legit scorer and a young wing man who still has a lot of improving
to do, a nice long-term contract and he will learn under coach
Charlisle. Charlie V has been absent for many years but is still a guy
with range, all he needs to do is stay ready and practice that 3 ball.
Jae Crowder is a young bruising SF with defensive ability as well. J.J
Barea is back with the team and will actually be used at the SG
position. His 3 point shot is as clean as ever and he was a vital part
to the Mavs run that season. Overall, I really love the Mavs and see
them being legit contenders to win their stacked division this year.
The only real value left in futures is the Mavs winning their division,
although it will be difficult, it is not out of the question. Look for
them to get past the first round this year and depending on the
consistency of Parsons in the playoffs, they have a chance to go deep.
PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS - - - The
Blazers have that legit 5 still in place this year and that is the sole
reason the Blazers always have a shot at making the playoffs. Lillard
is another year more mature and learning the nuances of the NBA with
each passing game. If he has any chance at being considered with the
top point guards in the NBA, he must find consistency at both ends of
the floor. He is always going to be a clutch player because of his calm
demeanor. Wesley Matthews is still one of the best defenders at his
position, a bit undersized to face the new breed of 2 and 3 men in the
league but a legit nightmare for many shooting guards in the NBA. Batum
is a lanky player with a great wingspan, still an outstanding 2-way
player but has struggled with consistency for most of his career. If
the Blazers want to make the playoffs this year, Batum needs to find the
next level of his NBA game. Big L is in my opinion the best power
forward in basketball today, he is as good on the outside (20 ft) as he
is on the inside. A low block beast with a post up game that would make
Hakeem smile, and a mid-range game that is so very rare for a player of
his size. Good at the stripe, good on high-low pick and rolls and a
very underrated low post defender. Robin Lopez may not be as good as
his brother, but I honestly think he is a lot closer than most realize.
Robin is a very rare legitimate 5 man in this league, without him,
Portland would have little to no chance surviving in the gigantic
Western Conference. He has improved his offensive game over the summer,
so watch out for Robin to have the best year of his career. The bench
of Portland has always been suspect, but this year they made a very good
acquisition, the cave man Chris Kaman joint the Blazers squad and will
really help Portland with their size concerns, he is a legit scorer at
his position and a good defender as well. Steve Blake takes the place
of Mo Williams and although he is not as good of a scorer as Mo, he is
more than capable of hitting shots and running the team while Lillard
rests. Will Barton has to take his game up a notch for Portland to
stand a chance at making it to the post-season, he has a mid-range game
but his slashing is where he can take advantage. Thomas Robinson is a
guy needing to assert himself into the rotation, his hustle will give
him some playing time for sure. Rounding off the rotation is a youngster
I like a lot C.J McCollum, he may not get a lot of minutes this year,
but watch out for his game in years to come, a very long-lanky guard
with extreme quickness and a good basketball I.Q. Overall, I think the
Blazers are better this year than they were last year. But they still
have to compete in a conference that is so stacked that even a 48 game
winning season would find them out of the playoffs, I have no idea where
the Blazers end up this year, but I do suspect, if their starting 5
stays healthy, they make the playoffs. That being said, they lose in
the first round.

Betbychoice - - - I thought by your name you would appreciate me not taking a bite out of today's action. Appreciate your kind words and look forward to seeing more of your posts bud. GL with your plays if you have any today.
Twosy3 - - - No worried bud, you are not the only one who doesn't bother reading my essays and nor do I blame you for it, no plays today though I plan to stay within the 1-5 unit range for the month of November. GL today.
Casanova - - - If there was a gun to my head, I would ask the man to play russian roulette to watch me squirm for his enjoyment, as he would begin to take bullets out of his gun, I would trip him and begin my patented rear-naked-choke and kill him slowly. :) I kid kid, to answer your question, gun to my head, let's say San An + 7.5 (-116) and Dallas either ML (+115) or + 2.5 (-119) Good luck buddy. I used to pity the haters Casa and get real pissed off and defensive, now I feel bad for the haters, they are just gamblers who have it bad, they are in it strictly to gamble. I do not consider NBA betting gambling, I consider it investing. It's my idea of mutual funds, stocks and bonds...only way way more fun!

Tien - - - It's ok man, at least he actually doesn't read yet still posts, you would be surprised at the amount of people that don't read anything I write and instead just look for the unit and sides. Not many people on here cap their own games, nothing wrong with that at all, just as long as they tail properly, 1-3 people max and average out their units while still using sound money management.
Jriv - - - Hey buddy, I actually provided my GSW season preview for 2014-2015 last night it was actually the only game I won ;(, as I stated I will be posting my Western Conference previews when I am betting on or against a Western Conference team, so look out for them within my wagers. BOL to you tonight buddy.

Poste - - - That right, it took me almost 3 years to realize...you actually don't have to bet everyday!! It started when for 3 seasons I always had bad TNT Thursday, always had a losing day, like a dumbass I always wondered why. It's because the slate is so small, you start to push for reasons why to bet on or against a team. I actually think it is not advisable to bet on a day when only 2 or 3 games are on the board...that being said, if the Spurs would have been at full strength and facing Houston catching points, I would have been all over that like a fat kid on cake. Looking forward to tomorrow's slate of games, thanks for your post and BOL if you do have anything riding on today's games.
MikeyAces - - - Thanks man, appreciate it, I hope you mean on tomorrows games cause your well wishes of luck today are not needed considering I have no plays for the day...but you know what, I will take it anyways, I do have a Dallas divisional future so I will take that luck and hope for a D town win. BOL with your plays.
TBreast - - - Thanks, BOL with your bets tonight,

Not a good sign that you don't return to a 1-4 losing post to reply to people. I will bet you return to a post that you go 4-1 and reply to everyone and there uncle. It may sound like I'm bashing but I'm not. Just pointing out something I wouldn't expect from someone who seems to want to run a tight ship... so to speak

CRS - - - Nice CRS, hope you go 4-0 buddy. Best of luck, will be rooting for you.
Wannwinalot - - - Always appreciate hearing that man, thanks and best of luck on your wagers tonight.
ETWins - - - What exactly do you want me to reply to? The bashers with 20 posts who created a covers account in 2014? I don't understand what you would have respected. If I posted burning money all over the place? I appreciated all those who backed me up and know exactly who they are. If you actually read my posts instead of blindly tailing, you would realize I commented about the thread above. Listen, I never bump winning threads, you don't know me very well. And what are you talking about...I run a tight ship? What does that even mean and how is that relevant? You clearly are unhappy with my 1-4 start. So fade me...I dare you.
Beatthebookie - - - I really like the Lillard bet, I think he has hit his stride and officially back after lighting up Kyrie. He hit 5-10 threes and I suspect he lets it fly tonight as well. Over 18 is a solid prop bet. As for Robin Lopez, I suggest you go with above 9.5 points instead of the under. Robin is a much improved offensive player this season, I do think that Tyson will cause problems for him defensively, as will Branden Wright. The addition of Kaman also is a concern, but I like the above 9.5 points more than the under 20.5 pts/reb. Nevertheless, I suggest you stick with your gut and go with both those prop bets, maybe place a bit more on the Lillard bet. Good luck with whatever you do with buddy. Will be rooting for ya.
CMJohnson - - - Always appreciate hearing from you, I literally open about 3 threads on Covers and you my friend are one of them, best of luck with your wagers Homer.
