Sup fellas, feeling good this week. 6-2 so far in straight wagers. NEW ORLEANS HORNETS - 5.0 (-110) - - - Can't believe Hornets are my POD but this is a great spot for a win and cover. The Clippers are in a bad situational spot against a team that owns them matchup wise. On top of all that they may be without their twin towers Camby and Kaman. To be honest, even if both were healthy I would still cap this as a Hornet victory and I will tell you why. So far these two teams have met twice thus far this season. The Hornets out-rebounded the Clipps by 24!! And that was with Kaman and Camby in the lineup!! They beat LAC by a combined 18 points per game. One win was even without CP3. Despite Baron's exceptional play as of late I think CP3 is going to undress him and the Clipps D tonight. I do sincerely believe that Chris Paul is arguably the best point guard in the NBA. He is averaging 15 assists per game in his last 4. He is shooting the ball efficiently including the 3 ball where he leads the team in percentage. Chris Paul is learning to take over offensively when needed as well. Clipps on a back to back after a very hard fought game in Memphis. The delay in the game only made this situation worst for LAC as they did not leave Memphis until after midnight. Big man Jordan had a career game but without Camby and Kaman, Craig Smith and Jordan although serviceable big men will not be able to handle Okafor, West and underrated defensive big man Songaila. Clipps are not very good at all on a back to back. They have only won one game on a back to back on the road. Orleans are b2b killers and are 5-1 when facing a team on 0 days rest. Rebounding & secound chance opportunity is vital to sucess in NBA games, I just don't see the Clipps having enough size, structure or stamina to keep up with the Hornets at home. Take New Orleans and lay the points.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS + 1 (-110) - - - I have a feeling a lot of you will be on the Oklahoma City Thunder. I completely understand why. OKC is officially tied for the hottest NBA team in the league...guess who they are tied with? The San Antonio Spurs. Both teams winning 8 out of their last 10 games. So I asked myself how exactly do I cap this "coin-flip" type game. For starters...who really is hotter? Who has been more definitive in their streak and the answer undoubtedly is the Spurs. The Spurs only lost to Dallas and Toronto on a back to back. OKC lost to Orleans and the Bucks. Point for San an there. OKC have also squeaked out quite a few of their victories while San An has blown teams out. Thier last matchup where OKC won in San An may cause some concern for many. The way I look at it it was very early in the season and San An had not found a groove at all. Manu went 0-8 and looked sketchy playing solid minutes for the first time in almost a year. Jefferson was 1-4 and Tony shot bad as well. If you watched the game it was only one single quarter that debilitated San An. Now the back to back situation. We all know San An's consistent debacles on b2b games. News flash...they do too. Popavich is all about preparation. I really think he has an answer for this b2b situation as well as KD tonight. OKC is right next to San An, I think it is actually a bus or train ride rather then a flight. San An is 2-0 SU and ATS on 0 days rest when facing a team on 1 days rest. For some reason I just really do not think this b2b situation is going to effect the Spurs as it usually does. After a monster win against the Lakers you gotta believe the Spurs will have the swagger, they are 14-8 after a win while OKC is 9-11. The Spurs have won 14 of their last 18 games and in my opinion are the hottest team in the NBA and will prove it with a b2b victory over the Thunder tonight.

PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS - 5.0 (-115) - - - I
hate the Portland Trailblazers. I hate em I hate em I hate em...feels
good to vent. I am 0-6 in my last 6 wagers on the Blazers and guess
what....all have been against them. I just did not believe that this
roster could manage despite their horrible luck...I was dead wrong.
They proved they can contend with teams without any significant size.
The reason...Brandon Roy. In my opinion he is the 3rd best SG in the
league behind Wade and Kobe. He shoots better then both of them by far
at 48% from the field. He also has a better 3 point percentage then
both of them and makes more then them as well. People have to start
considering B.Roy as an ultimate superstar. Blazers are also slowly
getting healthy. Blake back last game in limited minutes should find
more time tonight. Rudy may return for this game although I cap it as
if he is out. Big L is imperative to Portland's success. He is that
1-2 punch Portland needs. He had a great game vs Cleveland going 8-11
with 18 pts and 13 boards. I think he exploits the rookie Ersan
tonight. Bucks bench is interesting with Ridnour, Warrick and
Delfino. I do think Bayless, Blake, Pendergraph, Cunnigham and
hopefully Rudy will outplay them. Bucks will be pissed and poised
because their coach will make them, I wouldn't even be surprised to see
them ahead at most points in the game. Portland is 7-2 after a loss at
home and I just see them with an intensity to win tonight. If you
can't beat em join em, I am finally on the Blazers and hope they do not
fuck me over once again. Blazers win and cover.

INDIANA PACERS + 4.0 (-110) - - - Simply
put the Suns cannot handle their own medicine. It baffles me but the
Suns just cannot contend with teams that run and gun...strange
coincidence considering they pride themselves of that type of tempo.
The thing is when teams run, run and run, it is very difficult to
defend that type of offense. The Suns do a half-decent job defending
the half-court but they just cannot defend against the break. Against
teams like Memphis, Golden State and New York (who I consider run and
gun) they consistently get their asses handed to them. Indy, despite
being a bottom feeding team, runs that break ragged. Almost annoyingly
so. I understand the Pacers have had a dismal year so far, but guys the
Eastern Conference is like the Mafia. When you think you are out of
it...you are not. Indy is not out of it and they know it. They have a
solid coach who will make it known that now is their time. They are
finally healthy with a deep rich roster...yes I said deep. One thing I
do not get is why Dahntay Jones and T.J Ford are in the doghouse...well
I understand T.J he has a tendency to get cocky and arrogant and has
never been a team player. Jones on the other had is the best defender
they have and I hope and think he gets solid minutes tonight. When
capping Indy games start knowing the name A.J price. This New York
guard is opening some eyes and all you ballers know what kind of guard
NYC has created. He is for real and should be taken seriously coming
off the bench. Tyler is a hustler and a beast, I like this rook's
effort on a nightly basis. Mike Dunleavy junnniaaa has a solid shot
and is dangerous off the bench. Soloman Jones is a fast big man who
will come in handy tonight. Brandon Rush can hit shots now and then
and that my friends is the Indy bench. May not seem strong but in my
eyes they can easily outplay Barbossa, Dragic, Amundson and Dudley
tonight. As for the starters Troy and Danny must lead them. Hibbert
may not play too much tonight. If Luther can hit shots and Watson can
distribute I think Indy can actually pull of a straight up win. Pacers
are 5-2 SU in their last 7 vs a team with a winning record and I think
they catch the Suns sleeping in Indy tonight.

It was clearly a foul, then he jumps around like a little school girl. I love Reggie. I think he is the 2nd greatest shooter clutch or otherwise of all time (Ray Allen #1 to me) But Reggie is the most conceited egotistical ass ever. For someone who never won a ring or even reached the finals if I am correct he should stick a dick in his mouth and shut up.

I think this kid is a legit superstar. He has that swagger and confidence that all great players have. He is an enigma to me. All star players have some physical attribute or mad athleticism to them. All B dub has is a cool, calm assertiveness and exemplifies confidence constantly. He is the real deal holy-field.

Best point guard in the NBA. For anyone who wants to argue with me on that lets do it. Actually don't waste my time, just watch him for a few games and see him turn something out of absolutely nothing. His playmaking ability is the best I have seen since John Stockton. Averaging 15 assists in his last 4 with a roster like that? Amazing. He is the best there is...period. I believe if he was on a roster like LAL or BOS they would win 72 games. That is how good I think he is. BOL with your play.

great call on the suns not being able to deal with running teams - some notes from the game the other night versus the bucks
looks like the bucks outworked them though - thay had 14 more shot attempts(faster pace then the suns?), made 4 more 3 pointers(shocker), 8 more offensive rebounds(hustle and more shots), and had 6 less turnovers
that leads me to one other question - are the bucks going to be looking to push the pace offensively tonight, to take advantage of a depleted blazers roster, and maybe try to get portland out of their half court sets?
