Hey guys would like your opinion why do the angels suck so bad? everyone was hyping their offense but they can't get a run and are giving away runs by the inning. is it worth playing them on RL vs astros tomorrow?
Metta....I've been coaching baseball for over 30 years now and can tell you that chemistry is everything. Names, alone, don't get the job done. One look at that Angels lineup and, on paper, you'd think that they'd be unbeatable. However, it goes a lot deeper than that. I suspect that the addition of Hamilton is having an initially negative effect what with all of the hype. I've been fading the Angels on a regular basis which has worked out pretty well. That being said, hitting is contagious and once they find their stride, they're going to put up some pretty frightening numbers. Remember, Pujols got off to a slow start last season as well and will, undoubtedly, be the catalyst in turning their season around. Until he starts lighting it up, I would hold off playing any Angels' RL...JMO as I apparently suck anyway

thanks for the breakdown though, i do remember pujols struggled unbelieveably last year. this is my first year really following MLB and betting baseball. most of my plays have been from following trends of umpires and looking for bounceback pitchers (vogelsong today) as well as pitchers who pitch bad after a quality start (ubaldo yest or couple days ago). i've been enamored with this Astros RL fade and managed to go 6-1 (stayed away the past 2 games vs mariners since i saw lots of people on them). I'll probably lay off until their series with oakland

LOL....landry banked in that 3, to make the the total 213 ....i had over 212 1/2 in live in game, over 210 1/2, and over 211 1/2 and that banked in 3 made all those overs come in!!! LOL and i got a 215 total early in 4 Q and i hedged out of my 2nd half over for more than i bet and that came in....so i made a nice chunk back that i lost on the knicks total..

As I advised Pig, stick with the dogs in the +105-135 range and you'll do real well in the long run. Of course, you can find some real gems in the +135+ range as well. On rare occasion will I play a fav like I did tonight with Felix which, at this point, isn't looking to good. Watch those RLs as they can bite you in the arse nomatter how good they look on paper.
