As far as this series goes....
Coaching is the only edge I give to Miami.
That being said...perhaps Spo has some scheme defensively to slow Murray and Jokic down.
My take is Jokic was not at his best in the Lakers series...AVERAGE.
And yet, they beat a Laker team that was playing as well as anyone defensively in the playoffs in 4 straight....
I expect that to change versus the Miami defense which is very thin at the moment..

Seems nobody has learned anything about this Miami unit. Everyone doubted them & they topple the #1 seed, allowing just 1 win. Doubted them again & took out a more talented NY team. Still doubted them & defeated another more talented 2 seed team. And they did all this w/out their 20ppg player in Herro, no Dipo & w/ a less than spectacular Jimmy & Bam in the last 4 game stretch in the ECF.....
........and here we are w/ more doubts & still talking about how Denver's deeper and more talented lol. Miami doesn't give a f*ck. They've been leaving a path of destruction depleted, hobbled & w/ un-drafted players.
Miami's also been to the last dance in the last 3 seasons. They're highly battle tested & experienced in this time of the season w/ a master at the helm in Spo who has been displaying a masterclass of elite in-game playoff adjustments. don't be shocked if Denver suddenly is made to look ordinary the way Miami has done with Bucks, Knicks & Celtics.

I've never hit a double digit futures bet in NBA. Suns were the closest team but lost to Milwaukee. Celtics was the other against the Cavs one game away from the Finals and they couldn't win at home in game 7. Must be Deja Vu tonight lol....

And I’ll think they’ll put up a fight but still think Denver takes the championship. Most undervalued #1 seed in a long time. Joker deserves a ring and he’s got the supporting cast to do it this year. But we shall see
I tend to agree with you, or have felt that since the middle of the Boston series. Not so sure about it now, just because of how inept Bam is offensively. He's gonna need to be a defensive beast against Jokic to make up for all the things he does poorly on offense.
However, my reason for believing in Miami is the level of intensity and heart they are playing with. They are clearly a team on a mission, and the fact that they destroyed the #1 seed, then beat the #2 seed, is enough to know that they will not be an easy out.
People who think Denver is winning this series easily, are just not paying attention.
I hear ya... I would post a lot more analysis on here if it wasn't for the cesspool culture in this place. Contrarian views are all well and good, but it's the over-the-top language and emotional arguments that make it unbearable.
It's too bad... if this place were occupied only by people who understand sports, understand betting, and give objective analysis, it would be great for everyone (including the trolls who know nothing). But I'm pretty sure this place will never be like that...

It seems like very few people who post on this forum think in terms of value when betting. It took me awhile to figure it out, too. People just think in terms of Locks (binary thinking).
When I was very young, some random old guy at the Stardust said something to me, which sounded stupid at the time, but now I realize was genius. He said... "You know your problem: you want to win every game." I thought... of course I do. But now I realize what he was saying. The mentality you have when you think in terms of winning every game is different than when you think in terms of aggregate outcomes.
