Miami Heat/Milwaukee Bucks Game 4

If any of you follow me you have seen I been betting only baseball since sports have  returned from Coronavirus. However this is a situation where I think an NBA bet is warranted and a large one at that. 

Milwaukee Bucks +1 (-110) $550/$500

I locked this one in earlier today, before the news that Giannis might be out. This team is only down 3-0 but also the fashion in which they got dominated and blew a huge lead in the fourth of game 3 has people thinking they are done. I am assuming Giannis is a go and even if the ankle sprain is too severe for him to play I expect this team to fight hard and get a win in game 4.  This team won 56 games in the regular season and unless they have no heart you would think they will want game 4 more than Miami.  I am sure Miami will play hard but I think in a situation where Milwaukee is a small dog and not favored for once benefits them in this spot with the season on the line.

A Situation with a 56 win team needing just to win and not have to worry about laying pts with season on the line warranted this bet imo

BOL all, I am 2-0 this year in NBA only picking real rare spots 

First win was in December Indiana +4.5 home against the Lakers, with Anthony Davis out

and Philadelphia on Christmas I think it was +3 against these Bucks

lets go Bucks show some heart and extend your season 

I am picking the Bucks in every game this series... The other series is going at least 6 so there is no point to have a sweep in this series..

what do you possibly see in milwaukee that will make you want to put your money on this team .???

cmon man why even make that bet . I would understand if you took Milwaukee ML if they were +6 as a final hail mary but as a 1pt dog there’s no value on betting that team .

This is the exact reason I like the bet.. everyone thinking Milwaukee is done and they could be but i'm banking on them fighting hard and it's basically just a win situation for them where don't have to have worry about they winning and not covering etc.

Why would you 'lock it in' without knowing Giannis status? There's no way the line moves towards Milwaukee like you guaranteed got the worst line. He's gonna play anyway but I think you will definitely have a chance at catching more than a point if you like Milwaukee.

I think mentally those last 2 losses would break any team, foul with no time left and a ridiculous collapse, and then the best player hurt as well it feels like they're done. I thought for sure they had game 3 it will be hard to pick yourself up from that.

They are done. Blowing a lead like that in the 4th they have no shot. If Giannis doesn't play they get run out of the building, if he plays they still lose by 5.

Yeah I had Milwaukee all three games laying the point, hard for me pull the trigger for a forth!

BOL either way, looks like it's all Miami bettors and that makes me feel even better about my Bucks play. Also love when the line goes against me.. Been betting a long time and line movement which used to be thought as a way to win seems to lose more than ever the last few years  

Locked in earlier yesterday. Giannis was saying he felt fine at the time, was not even listed on the injury report.

I've stayed away from everything in this series so far and I'm staying away today.  My suggestion is to remember the bubble. MIL isn't playing in front of a hometown crowd. They aren't going to get any juice from the fans. More importantly, they aren't going to have to look those fans in the eye if they tank. And how bad do you think they want out of the bubble? If they lose today, they can be in the club 10 hours from right now, celebrating their escape. If they win today, that's at least another 48 hour they gotta wait, and for what? Honestly, don't they know they aren't going to advance? If they admit this to themselves, why delay the inevitable, especially when they are stuck in the bubble?

But MIA knows they are going to be stuck for awhile, so are they really going to come out hard today, or let one slide, knowing they'll have 3 more chances to advance? It's possible that the Heat don't show up today.

A team who won 56 games like that I don't think is ready to just pack there bags, if they are then I have zero respect for them 

This is wonderful though everyone on Miami keep adding to the thread with Miami plays, i love it. Hoping for the legendary but rarely fails covers jinx when everyone in the world on here is on them 

After watching this series closely you can tell the Bucks are done. They gave Miami everything they had and still loss. With that being said it is hard to sweep a team, a number 1 seed at that. I might stay away from this game but if I do decide to bet I’m going with MIAMI. Go get ya brooms!!!!!

I think OP has a good point, everyone thinks that the Bucks are done and all they need to do is get a win... As a capper you're always trying to find an angle and like it or not the NBA along with all other pro sports are full of narratives and stories, that's what makes it entertaining.

as expected all these negative comments criticizing me for locking in when i did etc, and typical public bloodbath with no response from all the Miami lovers after. Maybe if Middleton and Giannis got hurt for the second half and not only Giannis the heat would have covered lol
