According to scoresandodds, only 2% of the public is on houston. I like following trends like that, so that alone would lean my pick to Houston. I did the same last night playing a single on Houston cause there was a high percentage on spurs backers. I believe it was 79% spread and 90% ml. GL bud.
I think Houston can cover, but I'm going to lay off cause I just feel that they may not be able to match the intensity against a hungry Grizz team even though their starters didn't play much yesterday. The Grizz know that they've been dominated by the Rockets a lot so this is a pass for me. GL though.

I'm surprised that most people aren't talking about the Raptors vs Mavericks matchup. I see a blowout here but GL tonight
Mavs put a lot into yesterday's game and the Raps will want to do well for Casey. I think Dallas wins but I'm not sure if they can get it done to cover.

annoying prospect quesiton i know, but did you keep track of how many units you won at the conclusion of the season last year? if so how many were you up?
Made over 100 units in the playoffs from plays of 5-10 units. I bet less money last year, so I had a very good playoffs.
Last year's regular season I was mediocre. Can't remember the exact units but I think I was slightly plus.

Pistons – Celtics Under 183 (-105) to win 20 units
Today I expect a good defensive performance from both the Celtics and the Pistons. The Celtics have played some high powered offenses in the Knicks and Heat and they were absolutely gassed against the Hornets. They have not played their best D and without Paul Pierce, the haven’t had a wing stopper.Today the Celtics go against a pathetic Pistons offense. The Pistons have not threats on the wings and don’t have any low-scoring threats either. The Celtics bad D has been publicized and at home looking to win their first game I expect a much better effort.
For the Pistons they are coached by Lawrence Frank, who was an assistant coach for the Celtics last season. He will deploy some nice schemes against the Celtics to slow down Rondo and others. The Pistons played sloppy against the Cavs so I expect a better defensive effort from them here tonight.
Suns – Hornets Over 183 (-111) to win 15 units
This line has dropped all the way down from 187.5 to 183.These two teams played on Boxing Day only 4 days ago so they’ll be familiar with each other. In that game the Hornets had Eric Gordon and were without Point Guard Jarrett Jack. The total for last game was at 194 and the teams only combined for 169 points. Now the total opened 6.5 points lower and is currently 11 points lower than the total from last game. There is a lot of value in the Over tonight.
The Hornets will be missing Eric Gordon who scored a lot of points for the Hornets last game. However, the Hornets usually play at a slower pace with Gordon in the lineup since Gordon can isolate defenders and score 1-on-1 in a half-court set.Without him the Hornets pushed the ball against the Celtics and will do so again today in order to score points with Jack and Bellinelli. The Hornets have bigs who can score down low and against a mediocre road Suns D I think they’ll put up some points. The Suns lost the first meeting and got sucked into the Hornets pace. The Suns also got shut down on offense in their 2nd game against the Sixers. The Hornets are off of 2 statement wins so I don’t think their defensive focus will be as good tonight. The Suns will want to push the ball and I can’t see a high-powered offense like this continue to struggle especially since they are desperate for their first win of the season.Gimme the Over here!
Bulls – Clippers Under 192.5 (-107) to win 15 units
The Bulls put up some points yesterday against a mediocre Kings D and many off their points came off of garbage turnovers leading to easy fastbreak points. The Clippers are a much better team than the Kings and will protect the ball much better with veteran guards in Billups, Paul, and Williams. The Bulls are a great defensive team and on a b2b in a big game like tonight I expect them to ramp up the D and be pumped to slow down the offensive fireworks from Paul and Griffin. The Clippers will bring the D after a day off and a humbling loss to the Spurs. This is a big game for the Clip and they’ll want to show that they can beat the best teams in the league.Like the Warriors the Clippers have a ton of quality guards in Billups, Paul, Williams, and Foye to wear down and contain Rose.Inside the Bulls have a ton of bigs in Gibson, Asik, Boozer, and Noah to slow down Griffin and Jordan.Hamilton and Billups will play tough D being two old teammates.
In terms of pace, I don’t think that the Bulls will push the tempo too much being on a b2b where their starters logged decent minutes. They’ll slow the game down to avoid a LOB CITY fest.Chris Paul brings the ball up slowly as well in half-court sets and I think the Clippers will be a little anxious in their home opener leading to misses early on.Both teams have motivation and energy, both teams have rim stoppers and wing stoppers, and both teams have good perimeter defenders starting and on the bench so let’s roll with this Under.

MT...been following you the last year and this year. Appreciate your efforts and others on this forum which I've used for years. Wanted to get your thoughts on the 2nd half of the last few games you've had overs on (LAL/NYK and NO/PHX). Both games were well on pace to hit at half-time but both have fallen short of the final number.
Do you think this is a trend that will continue this year?
I went for the middle last night on the Lakers game taking th 2nd half under and made a half unit play to hit a small middle on tonight's game, both of which helped limit losses. I'm going to continue to monitor this trend and was curious as to your thoughts?
Thanks again for all you do.

Bucks and Pacers Under MT! Those games look like totals in the 170s. not a lot of scorers for Clev, Miw, and Wash. Pacers can shoot but will set up half court offense with their bigs in the paint. BOL

Thanks for the kind words. I wasn't too surprised that the Lakers and Knicks started missing shots because the Knicks were on a b2b and the Lakers were off of 3 games in 3 nights. However, I was really surprised to see the Hornets and Suns completely fall flat in the 2nd half as both teams were off of normal rest. The Hornets were completely flat. I've noticed the legs and points scored from some of the teams have gone down a lot in the 2nd half, for example just look at the Magic - Bobcats game today. I'm going to keep an eye out on that.
It sucks that the Hornets game didn't go Over after that nice first half but I'm not gonna complain cause the best play in that game was Suns ML.
