Love the play. C's playing out of their minds without Garnett... With the time off this will come to an end... Also the fact that they come off playing some big games and now face the Clippers. Talk about a let down. The public preys on expecting an all star team to beat a shit team any night of the season but the truth is it doesn't happen. GL tonight.

Is that a bad thing?  Hardly!  Public bettors have been making serious BANK on the Celtics ever since Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen came to Boston.  The Celtics are so good, they can still exceed expectations even when expectations are sky high.  The Clippers are the polar opposite of that.  They can let you down even when you're not expecting much from them.

I don't know about triple negative, but it has to be at least a double negative in the NBA when a road favorite is coming in off of pointspread covers of 22 points and 36 points.  That's unheard of!

Stay away from this one Brother. I dont see anything positive with this one... go with the OVER 219 in the Magic vs. Knicks game this is basically a lock...

mr bator the celtics are in a classic triple letdown situation.
rondo peirce and allen are good but now the clips have big men inside that can get rebounds they got a hot outside shooter and davis is hot too. this looks like a big play for clips to me.

No letdown last season when Boston went into Staples unrested, playing the last game of a 5-game road trip, and proceeded to demolish the rested Clippers by 28 points.  The public was on Boston full steam that night and laughed and laughed their way to the cashier's window.

I don't get the triple letdown situation when they're winning streak is only two.  What do you mean by the "triple letdown"?

It is just my opinion, But why anyone would put any monry on a horrible Clippers team vs one of the best teams in the league. A team that could win by 40 easy! Maybe you are right tonight and the clip cover, but there are a lot better games out there tonight!

I wish you luck with that one, I just don't see betting your biggest of the year on it.  The Clippers are THE WORST team in the league with or without Zach Randolph (and I am a fan of Zach).  I hope you hit your spot here, I just don't see it.

In my opinion, it should be a real concern to all Clipper backers tonight that the sharp books, books like Pinnacle, The Greek, CRIS, BetJamaica, and 5 Dimes, books that NEVER offer value on unwanted underdogs (like the Clippers), were the first ones to bump this line up to +10.  What does that normally signal to me?  It signals Fool's Gold.

=beat the nuggets by over 30 pts
=beat the clippers last time in la by over 20 pts.
 
classic triple letdown. they have no motivation to win this game.
now on flip side clips have tons of motivation to win.

The Las Vegas Hilton's sportsbook is the only book in Vegas whose numbers I respect.  They are the only Vegas book that tries to do their own oddsmaking and they've got guys who are pretty damn good at it.  And they are the only Vegas book currently offering the Clippers +10.

I can think of two excellent reasons to want to win this game, two reasons that are in the Celtics' heads every single day.  One is called the Cleveland Cavaliers and the other is called the Los Angeles Lakers.

mr bator when it comes to all these books pinnacle the greek the hilton adjusting to 10 i agree that holds value and u are right to watch that i do as well. But i think the best books are all wrong to do what they did and i say the clips cover. i maybe wrong but i doubt it. 100 percent

With all due respect........what would that be?  Because I watch quite a bit of Clipper action, and to me they are the quintessential "Don't be GIVIN' A FUCK!" basketball team.

I agree! I too have watched a number of Clipper games and even @ home they play like they just don't care.
