The All-Star format was cool and well needed to motivate the current stars of the NBA. The major element that I see that’s Lacking from today’s stars is PERSONALITY!!! The only star that comes to mind with some kind of personality is Ja and Ant! The older stars look bored (KD) (Harden) just to name a few. If the NBA wants to get its ratings back to normal it needs to highlight the stars with some kind of personality like the players had years ago. MJ, AI, Magic , Bird and so on . What’s your thoughts on personality and ratings ?

The all star games in the NBA and the NFL are a joke now.

The best part of both weekends are the skill competitions. Flag football and no defense all star games are weak. I dunno what you mean by personality. 

 

When you're making 50-60-70M a season it's hard to get up for these things. Even the rookies make bank nowadays. The #1 pick has a guaranteed $58M contract.
