My pick of the day

I think, that the TV network will want to make millions more, that the NBA wants to make millions more, that Los Vegas wants to make millions more, and that they want to sell thousands more tickets for the next Denver/LAL game, etc. 

So another game with Denver and LAL will be scheduled.  All my data and stats point to Denver, the better team, (11-0 Denver) but money talks and money will determine the outcome of this game. They also want to send the Lakers fans home with a nice feeling of having seeing their team win.  

So having said all that, my pick of the day is Lakers +4 And I'm going big on this one. Large Marge I call it.

Money didn't determine Game 4 of last year's Western conference finals between these two teams, so why trust "money" here? The thoroughly demoralized Lakers might not even be able to muster their usual phony halftime lead tonight. It's okay, though. Their leader told us after Game 3 that "it's only basketball."

And if you've concluded that money will send this series back to Denver for a Game 5, then why not bet the Lakers on the moneyline?

The Lakers' body language in the Game 3 postgame press conferences was not encouraging. Poor Austin Reaves looked like a high school student who just got sat down by his parents who demanded an explanation for him flunking his biology test.

I get your angle cuz but the Lakers ain’t looking to travel to Denver to lose game 5 or 6. This series ends tonight. 

I think Nuggets get it done tonight

The Lakers seem like a team on the verge of quitting, but the motivation for them to avoid another loss tonight is huge. Drop this one and they'll be heckled all summer long and into the fall for getting swept back-to-back and for losing a dozen times in a row to their daddies, the champion Nuggets. Avoiding that nightmare is worth a plane ride to Denver to take their Game 5 whuppin'.

I looked at last years game 4 and saw a 2 point Nuggets win, LAKERS will unload this game, I am not sure if it will be enough for them to win, but I took them +3, and I am one who normally would just play the ML at most spreads under 3.5

At the Wynn. They had +4 all day and then sweetened the offer just minutes before tip-off. The Peppermill up in Reno also offered the Lakers +4.5.

Nuggets playing crappy again. Maybe tonight they don't deserve to keep getting away with this 1st half crappiness.

13 point lead at HF yet my stomach is feeling a bit nauseous. Does Denver have them right where they want them, again? Aargh...

The Nuggets made minimal progress in the quarter they've been dominating all series.

Aaron Gordon went from a career playoff high 29 points in Game 3 to just 3 points through three quarters tonight.

Lakers DO have some pride and will not let them sweep again.  Made a nice bet here, I was right, "another game will be scheduled between Denver and Lakers.
