That's called "taking a shot" at your book in the industry and you risk being booted doing that.

Do not bet into this obvious line errors and expect good things to happen to you.

Interesting.  Betting a small amount, you may get away with it.  They'll void the bet, you get back your money and won't get booted.  UNLOADING the WHOLE account on this obvious line error, they'll void the bet, you get your money and WILL get booted... an_roll_laugh

Don't know if anybody caught it but 5dimes just had the same "uh oh" with the 2nd half line for the Nets @ Cavs game.  They had the Nets team total at O/U 57.5 and the Cav's team total at O/U 69. an_speechless  It was up for like a good 3 minutes before they took it down and readjusted the Cav's team total to O/U 59.  Looks like somebody fell asleep at the computer... sleep2

Yeh they have it in the rules about bad lines,they just void them most of time,if you have taken them for lots of money they could use it to dump you,but mostly just void the play.

No worries, just trying to throw some caution out to you or anyone else who might read. Books just generally take unkindly to that behavior and it's actually written in their rules that they have the right to void any bets places on line errors.

Not saying they shouldn't share some responsibility to better safe proof in this area because they certainly should. And it's also true that not everyone might realize it's a line error since they may be more recreational bettors, so it may not always the case where a player is doing it intentionally. they will cancel the wager and return the money to you saying line error.

Happened to me numerous times :)
