NBA Conference Finals Series

Please pay attention to the following detail common to both Conference Finals Series: the underdogs have the home advantage in both series. Or, I will say it differently: a perception is dictating the lines and the odds rather than the reality of the regular season records and the subsequent standings.

The Rockets finished atop Western Conference and will be hosting the second place Dubs while the Rockets are underdogs to win the series at the handsome +165, but are favorites to win the first game of the series at -120. 

The disonnance between the Eastern Conference Finals Series price and the first game winner price is non existant as the Cavs are favored to win the series at -300 and game one in Boston at -120. Here, the reason for the Celtics being underdogs despite finishing 2 places up from the Cavs is Irving's season ending injury. Still, it hurts the eye.

So, what are the conclusions from all this and can I already create some kind of a safe heaven for betting the series as well as the NBA title?

For me there is only way to bet the series: in unison. Parlaying both favorites sums up to +105 odds. Betting each underdog separately is priced at +165 and +240. After each game the prices will be changing. If the faves will be winning the price on the underdogs will improve and visas versa
