2016-2017 NBA Contest

Rules: Max of 1 play per day. No live betting, no ML higher than -110, no buying points, use available lines and totals at exact time of post (no “I got this line last night”). So basically ATS and totals, team totals 1st qtr, 1st half, full game and 2nd half, player props all good to go.  . Please provide a brief write-up if you can to further explain your reason for the play. May the best Capper win!

Congrats to the Top 25 and ties that move on and a big thanks to those players that made it this far but aren't, appreciate everyone's participation. Next Cut to Top 10 and ties is end of day April 12th with min 15 plays from today.

congrats top 25! 

started off good, struggled during the middle and tried to climb my way back but came up short. i feel good knowing that i went down swinging. 2 nice W's to end my journey. the Wizards win was my most gratfying pick in this contest

As I reflect on the great times in this contest, we had some ups, had some downs (going 4 straight L at the end surely didn't help my cause) but made some friends along the way, and even united a small, simple minded community (The Ouachitans - Its believed that they will be putting up a statue of myself in my honour - it's of me sitting on the can on my phone, capping games and reading any insights on team names and such)
*very touching - getting teary eyed here* (as I'm sure you all are as well while reading this)
I wish all the best going forward to the remaining contestants

I haven't heard a peep from BlueMoon, he posted 2 plays in Feb, if he were dropped 53% Digital and I would get in, hmmm? What you guys think? maybe give him a few days to respond? I shoulda put a rule in there on being active but I wanted to allow the more selective capper (FunkFreaker) an opportunity to win but not force plays, I didn't intend the minimums to allow players reach the min and to disappear...

Prince I hope you stick around, I for one appreciate your sense of humor and unique capping style WALAWEE my bad and nice win to end on a positive note

Lines and games were horrible before the All-Star game so I waited until the second half of season. Games and lines are a whole lot better.

Rockets got their behind kicked and will come in today with a Win.
Spurs will also play there first game after the rodeo road trip.
