On a nice little run in NBA buckets, won't post the stats as that always leads to a horrible night.
Los Angeles / Cleveland UNDER 208 (34 units to win 32.38)
Waiting to see how this moves, will likely add to this bet.. I'll disclaim that totals have been up and down all year for me, so don't just jump in blindly here. Like the spot here for an under, will have some thoughts very shortly.

Going to need lots of drinks tonight to sit through a Cavs game holding an under ticket, but really like how it sets up tonight. First off, both teams are coming off 50%+ shooting performances. Not a rare occurence for the Clippers, but quite the feat for the Cavs. Cleveland has exceeded 50% shooting 4 times this year and in the following games, they are shooting 44% and averaging 97 points per game. The Clippers on the other hand have hit 50%+ 14 times and in games following are shooting 46% and averaging 100 points per game. They have been held under 100 in seven of these games and held under 105 in 11 of these games.
More notably, the Clippers head into tonight's game following a 100+ point scoring performance on the road. When this happens and the next game is also a road game, the Clippers offense seems to disappear. In 6 road games this year where the previous game was on the road and the Clippers scored 100+, LA has scored the following .. 91, 80, 91, 100, 83, 79. That works out to an average of 87 points per game.
Of course, in none of these games did they play the Cavs, but this trend speaks to their offensive inconsistencies. Even more of an issue now with Eric Gordon on the sidelines. They don't shoot well enough from the field to consistently put up points on the road
Lastly, and probably laughable to some, is the public call out by coach Byron Scott after the Cavs last game. He came out and criticized his players for a lack of effort. Hard to motivate yourself when you've lost so many games in a row, but being called out for not showing effort by your coach will either make you quit completely, or make you show a little more fire. Either way, I think both scenarios lean to the under.

The more and more I looked at this game, the more I forgot about the Cavs losing streak... is it at 8 games now?
Cleveland Cavaliers +4.5 (18 units to win 17.14)
Cleveland Cavaliers +160 (6 units to win 9.6)
The Clippers are 2-21 on the road assuming they are lined as 4.5 point favorites. Again, they haven't played the Cavs in any of these games, but this is not a consistent team on the road. They just won SU on the road in their last game and nothing this season tells me they can put forth consecutive quality efforts away from home. Baron Davis hasn't had back to back double doubles all year, so expect a regression in performance from him. Can't see Randy Foye putting up 20+ again. Sure Griffin will likely get his, but not sure where the other points come from off a 54% shooting effort on the road vs the Knicks
