I just notice a consistent lack of effort by every team but Jazz and that’ll probably start soon. I never watch games but did today and teams play one good half then carb load at half on fettuccine alfredo or some shit and come out flat. I think teams are tired and don’t really give a shit as we are a week away from the silly ASB. I’m taking unders like I said I would 2 nights ago but didn’t. Good luck PJ it’ll all work out.

forget the 76ers... look at the celtics/pelicans game. up 21+ into middle 3rd quarter and somehow blow the lead and go over thru OT lol. they needed a 70 point quarter and hit OT and over . i needed that game to give me lenience on my later bets.
kemba walker played so terribly today.. it sickens me. 1-12 from 3pt and shot at least 6 missed 3s in the 4th. you have tatum and brown on the team but you wanna try and make all star caliber shots lol. hes washed. charlotte should be glad they got rozier

And not sure what coaches actually do anymore but if my team had a 20pt halftime lead the last peoples I’d let in the locker room at half are Luke Walton, Doc Rivers or Brad Stevens

Ive been saying it for years now...ingame wagering is the only way to go...this years NBA season solidifies it.
The huge middling opportunities on the spread, and getting + $ on both sides ingame is changing the face of sports betting.
With covid "injuries" and load management, theres no real way to be sure who will play and who wont pregame hours before tip off, so igname is where to look for your best edge, either after the 1Q or at HT.

honestly, raptors are a solid squad. it was honestly a coin flip for that game. i really wouldnt view it as uncappable there since theyre both solid squads. i actually originally leaned raptors but then switched to 76ers by psyching myself out and following some solid cappers on Chauster’s thread. i wished i put more money on the magic so i ended up losing juice. had denver and knicks as well which also lost juice on.

Well, I'm super hot and lucky tonight so I'm inclined to disagree but yeah, I'll tell you exactly how I try to play it. You look at the last 10 games ATS and for over/unders. See how often the two teams are covering and by what margin. Also look at the shooting percentages. What was insane about betting against the Cavs today? Pistons are playing like trash recently. As I actually posted on here earlier today, Raptors were the play in that game. Sixers dominate at home and aren't even .500 on the road. The Nets have covered several in a row ATS. Ride the short-term trends, especially if teams are exceeding the numbers set by the oddsmakers.

However, i will say this about about all these lay downs and blowouts for teams in the 2H and 4Q's especially...i truly believe all the players at some level feel this season is bs...they feel like why are they playing a game during a pandemic, why are they playing thru #BLM yet there has been zero change with respect to systemic racism...playing infront of no one, empty buildings, now they are forced to perform at the all star game like circus animals, etc...that all plays a role why we are seeing teams tap out early and often, rather than tough it out and fight and battle to make a comeback in games...the lack of defensive efforts is mind goggling, these guys only care about their own stats and offensive output...they give zero fuk in d and the game is not entering a very dangerous point in its evolution to be near unwatchable (and unbettable unless youre a degen looking for nightly action).
I got into following the NBA in 1980, and loved the game ever since. I played in high school with a 1st rd draft pick, and thru him ive known several NBA players throughout the past 2 decades...they all cant believe what the game has become now, and feel like its quickly going to be in big trouble if the lack of intensity in players persists.
The fact that everyone is making so much money, even the bench warmers now are multimillionaires, theres no real sense of urgency for players and teams to win anymore...and to bettors like us, its become a very dangerous sport to wager on this season more than any other.
With all that being said, Lebron for MVP will make me a very happy man

Yea don’t cap too hard on these games. I’ve been picking and choosing games weekly. If I lose a game or have a bad beat I take the rest of the week off then come back and start off fresh.

What do you mean "right now"? NBA has never made much sense, especially ATS. It is the nature of the league. Every team has talent, any player can get hot or cold shooting, good teams overlook bad teams. It is rare when you have players like Bird, Magic Jordan, Kobe or coaches like Phil Jackson who get their teams to play hard every night, and then when they do the spread will reflect it.

I will say that I not only agree but this year whenever a team gets down like 15, you are a fool not to take them at + whatever the line is. Didnt look at the real stats but I'm sure the chances of them coming back are solid. Everyday some team falls down by 20 in the 3rd and by the 4th its a 3 point game. Only problem with ingame wagering is knowing at what time to take a team and line. Otherwise, you are officially correct that ingame wagering is the way to go, especially for folks who watch the games nightly and have a good internal feeling as to how the rest of the half/game will go!

if youre trying to make sense of NBA, then youre trying too hard.... that is my advice. think outside the box GL the rest of the way, if you decide to come back.
That first line is golden. The NBA is not that complicated. It is, but the goal is to not make it too complicated. I love all these stats and analytics but do they really impact the overall game? Diving deep into games is fun but at what point is diving deep too deep? I love the people who find one crazy stat and say because of this, Team A will beat Team B. Like LOL, last night had one buddy text me say, "Team A is giving up the 2nd most assists in the league and Team B has many good playmakers, Team B will secure the win". Like sure??? But is there really a correlation??
Anyway yes when betting the NBA take it step by step and make it simple. At the end of the day it really is not worth spending hours diving into trends and finding a random mismatch or stat!

I am on the losing side as well. I will win 1 day and lose 3 days straight. Yeah, NBA is very hard to cap right now. I even tail most of the good cappers here but still end up down with betting. Just this weekend starting Friday night, I lose a total of 400usd. I know this is small to some of you but still it would be better to double it up rather than losing it haha.
