THATS AMAZING IN A LARGE SAMPLE SIZE. THATS WORTHY ENOUGH TO BE A PRO CAPPER. Some of you on here just have no discipline and tail whatever pick is out there. Jeeze man.

You can go 1-3 for the day and still be up units if your 1 win was say 10unit bet versus the 3 you loss was 1 unit bets.

I´m with you. I praise and thank LC on a regular basis. I am not a good spread handicapper in basketball yet and his insights are truly invaluable. 
But Im with Los Dos on this one. Covers overvalues the term "unit". You have some morons posting regularly 10 unit picks. I´ve even seen a respected poster (whom I respect as well) post a 30 unit pick. WTF is that? If units were all that matters I could start now a thread and pick for tomorrow one random game and bet 3u, if I miss, Ill go with 6u the day after, if I miss lets do 12, and so on, and by the end of the year I´d have the best record in this site. The thing is that approach does not work. 
Significantly reducing your "standard" unit is just an excuse to make a marginal bet which may very well be EV-. I did it all the time. Nowadays I use two units. My standard one and the other one which is 60% of my standard unit. And my unit equals 2% of my bankroll.

And he's made 175 total picks so far. So after juice, to be up "50 Units" but only hitting 54% would mean that his average size "Unit" bet would've had to be around 3.25 Units.
