1-1-0 last time....
 
Atlanta Hawks -2.5 over Toronto Raptors
Raptors are playing Hawks at the wrong time. Hawks are on a mission to get in the playoffs. They are playing great basketball, winning 8 of their last 10 games. This is a double revenge game for Hawks as they really dont want get swept in the series for the season. Every home game is critical for Hawks since that's when they've played their best basketball going 24-13. After this game, they only have three more home games (against 76ers, Magic and Celtics). Raptors have dominated Atlanta in the series, but I think in this spot, Hawks are a good play tonight.

gl man i was thinking the same thing but then i changed my mind it may be one of those things where they dont match up good against torontoo and when u own somebody u own them but gl

risktaker, you do know that in those 2 Toronto wins, Anthony Johnson was the starting pg and he scored a total of 3 points in both loses.

I agree with you here.  The over looks good here too.  Bibby creates an uptempo style & TOR giving up 109 past 7 games. Go ATL & GL!!

Boston Celtics -11 over Indiana Pacers
Top 5 bad defensive team vs the best defensive team in the entire league. Another game where a bad defensive team meets a powerful defensive team. At least the line is "reasonable" here (not like the joke of a line yesterday when Spurs annihilated Warriors as a stunning -8.5 home favorites). Celtics want to wrap up home field advantage throughout playoffs as soon as possible, so they can rest their players. Pacers have allowed 111.6 ppg in their last 9 road games. (Every single team have scored 100+ points). Celtics have allowed 100+ at home twice in their last 11 home games. In their last 9 home games, they have allowed 88.6 ppg at home.
 
111.6 ppg (Pacers defense) - 88.6 ppg (Celtics defense) = 23.0 ppg difference.
 
And the line is -11.
 
I'm going with the C's to shut down Pacers and Pacers not to shut down C's.

I forgot to mention that Celtics are 17-3 ATS at home when they score 100+ points.

i have BOS coming out as a 20pt winner as well but i wouldn't be shocked if they start resting guys.

Only if someone is out. If it's a gambler putting $100,000 on the Raptors, it doesn't bother me at all.

After thinking I would go 1-1-0 again, I finish 2-0-0
 
C's game was a no-brainer.
 
But let me say that game in Raptors/Hawks.
 
Bad defense all around. Raptors were in complete control of the game, until the last possession.
 
I have a DVR, and there is an option that you can pause the program and you can see frame by frame (which is more slower than slow motion).
 
When Raptors throw ball in the air, you can see the clock starting about a fraction or two of a seconds earlier.
 
That was the difference.
 
But that's nothing.
 
What about OT?
 
Do Raptors forget all of the sudden who Mike Bibby is?
 
This is the guy that tie the freaking game in regulation, and they decide to double team Johson, and keep Bibby wide open for three.
 
Amazing.
 
2-0-0 tonight.

I would thank the time keepers first, just because toronto's offense did bail out there defense with .5 seconds left...

regardless I had atl as well, lets just say this win will cancel out a past or future moose :-)

I can't thank the time keeper first, because if Raptors play a little defense, we would not be having this conversation.

They blow a 17-point lead, they decide to leave mike Bibby wide open to tie the game (Do coaches ever learn to have players foul before taking a three-point attempt?, believe me, it works like a charm.)

Raptors bad defense + timekeeper + then Raptors bad defense again in OT made this play possible.

I'm just glad to be on the winning side.

Tomorrow I might have the correct play, but not the winning one.

Well, Bibby was not wide open when he made the three, but I think Ford or whoever was guarding Bibby didn't do much effort to try to block the view or anything.
 
He just stood there with his hands up.

With less then 5 seconds why are you going to foul...HOW DO YOU KNOW THE PLAYER ISNT GOING TO CATCH AND SHOOT? You dont, Bibby gets the ball, ford runs over and fouls him in the act of shooting? Is that really smart?  Not to mention hawks are at home...

did you watch the game? Did you see in the 2nd half i believe, they had a foul to give, and they tried to do the exact same thing and instead it turned into a shooting foul

so many things can go wrong...

If there bringing the ball up from the other side of the court then you have a valid argument, but not from underneath the basket with 5 seconds lol

I did see that. I just saw the replay and Ford just stood there and didn't do nothing to defend the three.

Even Stephen A Smith said that was completely unacceptable the way he played defense there.....I'm sorry he didn't play defense whatsoever there.

Raptors blew it. And we move on.
