With u on this one since this may be the last time I have a chance to PLAY BOS (my favorite team) even if I really like to take CLE plus the points...Whatever it will happen, thx to u Jeremy for always posting early for overseas players like us!!! Hope they win by 28points

wjeremy97, I felt the same way you did when I took Boston -8 in Game 5. I hated it, but it was a situational spot I always play. The Celtics weren't up to the task, and I needed no further warning that this team cannot be trusted to cover pointspreads. The public likes those 8 points today, but I think the public is right again just as they've been right all series!

i think the absence of gibson is really going to hurt these cavs on the road. before the celtics series he lite up the wizards for something like 22 points. although that did not continue into the boston series, gibson spread the floor giving trouble to bostons outside defenders (manly ray allan and rondo). In the last game i noticed how boston stop defending the three ball and focused their attention on NOT letting lebron get inside the paint. when LBJ managed to get inside, he would kick out to wally and sasha. guys that have slower releases and thus the defenders where able to get a hand up.
the public got very lucky in game 5 and 6 IMO for various reasons. but thats the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. I will wake up and see if any books have adjusted their lines. i expect some sharp action coming on the celtics and if it goes to -9, then i know im on the right side of this. Booby gibson is the cavs 2nd best player and his absence is being way undervalued.
best of luck bator. i always appreciate you dropping by and giving me a piece of ur mind.

Do you mean they got lucky because their team (Cleveland) played horribly and covered anyways?
