I forget the exact stat (think it was like the last 13 times in a row) but omg was it regurgitated about 10 times during last night's broadcast.
A broadcast which also happened to feature the Celtics dismantling the 76ers in G2 after losing G1 at home.
That constant reminder, plus the result of that game, plus the fact the Warriors are the champs, IMO has every square laying down their cash on GS tonight as if a loss is out of the question.
Not so fast my friend. The Kings actually should have beat GS, they have more overall talent, but they lacked a few things. Playoff experience, and big tough dudes in the front court. Things the Lakers have.
Steph Curry is basically an alien life form with what he can do hitting from anywhere but the rest of the team is mediocre. Draymond is one of the most overrated players of the last decade. Donkey face can't even hit a layup and for some reason he is regarded as some tough guy despite the fact, if you actually look at his physique, he's built like your Uncle who used to be a baller but no is more involved with Hennessy and scratch cards. I can't stand the dude and anyone who thinks he's this generations Rodman actually hasn't a clue.
Klay is a shadow of his former self and Jordan Poole omg his contract is one of the worst management decisions the NBA has seen in years.
If only De Aaron Fox hadn't passed to Harrison Barnes in the closing moments Game 5 the Warriors would already be toast.
They might win this one but if they do, I think it will be like 113-110 and they won't cover. And either way, the winner of this series is booked for 2nd place in the West.
But mainly, they just kept repeating that stat way too often last night for my liking. It was like Vegas paid them to say it - while the C's were in the process of supporting it.
It's only a 1 unit play for me but I'm happy to fade the squares tonight getting a juicy +6.5. The Knicks were in this spot and even with Butler out they couldn't win by 7.

Because each of the side is the same... over/under/favor/dog ... no matter which side you go, whichever way you over think, it is the same predictable outcome (public = loser).

This is a defining game for the Lakers. We know this is a perfect letdown spot for the Lakers.
1. Will Davis show up to back to back games?
2. Does Ham have the ability to in-game counter Kerr’s adjustments?
As a huge Laker fan I want them to win this game big time, but I don’t think they are there yet. I see GS hitting a barrage of 3’s and their patented defense coming out in the third.
