Posting this on the earlier side b/c I have a few things to tackle in the next couple of hours and because I like a handful of games so I expect my record to change substantially (for the better) after tonight. Not going to wait for the inactive at this point. Hated last night's game so sat it out but tonight is another story:
PHILADELPHIA ML (+120): Thank you, I"ll take that. Sure, the Sixers haven't been good at all of late but they are just getting Embiid back and his minutes will slowly increase. But I think they have the Magic's number here and given they are 7-0 SU in their last 7 games when playing on the road against Orlando and 14-1 SU in its last 15 games when playing Orlando, I'm gladly going to roll with those trends.
DETROIT (-2): Laughable, right? Backing the lowly Pistons on the road. Except they are not so lowly this year and they are 11-2 ATS in its last 13 games when playing Toronto with most those games going over the number when the teams play in Canada.
LAL (-3): AD should be back tonight to try and defend Wemby. Both these teams have pretty high pace of play and I think in a game like this the loss of Popovich will be felt. Additionally they are San 2-8 SU in their last 10 games when playing at home against LA Lakers and while I still drop 3 points, I think that's short enough to get the cover.
LAC (+5)...BIG PLAY!!!: These two teams squared off a couple of nights ago and I said it just missed being a big play. Not this time though as I think the notion that the Clippers are 15-6 SU in the last 21 vs Houston, including the loss a couple of nights ago, puts them in a VERY good position to take this victory home.
OKC (-8): This will unfortunately for Phoenix not be close. The Thunder will score all over the Suns porous defense and with both Beal and Durant missing, it will be hard for the Suns to keep up. Almost took the over as well in this game as they have played 8 of the last 9 OVER when squaring off in OKC
MINNESOTA (-1)...BIG PLAY!!!: At some point the Kings will find consistency and so will Minnesota but for the moment I will back the trends here as the Kings are missing both Monk and DeRozan and I think it's going to be hard for them to come out victorious in a matchup that has seen Minnesota go 5-1 ATS and SU in its last 6 games when playing on the road against Sacramento
By far the biggest slate of the year and might remain that way throughout the season given the angles on the games that are in our favor for tonight. I encourage everyone to do their own research and please bear in mind I also put cash on these so keep the comments positive. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
