I like your Play of the Day on the Clippers. In early January, the Clippers went through a brief stretch of poor play in which they failed to cover four games in a row. Since a 114-104 loss in Denver on January 12th, the Clippers have gone 7-1 SU & ATS after any game in which they failed to cover. The seven wins have been by an average of 18.6 points per game! The lone loss was that agonizing 141-133 double overtime loss in Boston just before the All-Star break. Paul George tweaked his hamstring during the second quarter of that game and the Clippers had to do without him the rest of the way. I had the Celtics -1.5 that night and actually came away with more admiration for the Clippers than for the Celtics.

The Thunder, meanwhile, appear to be regressing. Beginning with a 126-108 win over the Suns on December 20th, they began a fantastic stretch in which they went 18-5 ATS. But, they are just 3-7 ATS in their last ten.
