I usually dont like following trends too much but these stick out alot chicago 0-6 on 0 days rest
only one of those losses can be aplied with the likings of Tyrus Thomas my friend... which was the 2nd game of the season for the Bulls were they were outclassed by the Boston Celtics also the Bulls were not in the right stste of mind to start the season as I stated...
So your grading this stat on missing key info such as missing healthy players such as Thomas and most likely Hinrich in some of those games as well...
So with out Thomas they are 0-6 ats and with him they are 0-1 ats and if we all think that the same thing continues to happen each night we are all so wrong in the long run then...

I really think many people are over looking the fact on how important that Tyrus Thomas is to this team and are not factoring in that he missed 22 games in which they were 6-14-2 without him and all this 0-6 b2b talk is overrated because of that fact alone.
Just remember they are only 0-1 b2b with Thomas losin gto the celtics on the road and derick rose is now playing superb again were he was'nt earlier this season....
0-6 will not continue tonight
BOL their are no LOCKS ever... we can argue all day long and if im wrong I will here it for sure...

I have to agree with Tito..The Bulls are 0-8 ATS (-10.8 ppg) since February 24, 2008 as a dog with at most one day of rest after a game at home in which they scored less than 15% of their points from the free throw line. .

hmmm well I put in Bobcats-6 last night it is tough to play on b2b in the NBA I hear that from alot of players do you think playing on a b2b is overrated?
most likely one of the most overrated betting strategy in the NBA IMO... I can definetly be overused and I think that b2b comes in to play when you can find teamsdown on them selves and injury ridled. I will say this you can make a lot of money on home dogs when the road team is on a b2b night. I don't remember the exact formula to that one but there is a certain spread number were it's very profitable over the long term...
This game is no where near that category...

I think that u forgot to mention that this is only true when grandma is smoking on a pipe of the good stuff on an even numbered day in which the sun is hiding behind the clouds for better than 50% of the day...

the other thing to look at is fatigue - the savior of this team, Tyrus, has had two horrible nights in a row shooting - something like 6-20 combined...it's possible that since he's been away for so long his body is still working back to shape...now on a b2b - that won't help
don't mean to bash your play, b/c it very well could hit - just giving some counter opinion -

Man, your putting a lot of stock in Thomas...

i have just been looking at this one a little more in depth and I think i'm gonna side with you on this one. I like the fact that charlotte just beat the cavs and now here come the bulls. a bit of a letdown is natural and your right the bulls have been playing better with ty thomas. Consider the public is on charlotte as well. I love it more and more

oddsbuster...this is no way shape or form in any disrespect to you but how can you put that much stock into a guy (tyrus thomas) whose career numbers are 7.8 points per game and 5.1 points per game. I can almost assure you in the time he was out whoever was in the lineup instead of him put up very similar averages. Just tough for me to like this play as a POY when a large part of your pick is because of a guy who would probably not be a starter on 80 percent of NBA teams.

Matter of fact taj gibson is averaging 8.4 points and 6.5 rebounds...So looking by the numbers having thomas in the rotation rather than gibson is a downgrade.

Yeah I would much rather have Thomas...that isn't an arguable point. But would you rather have a healthy Gibson or a guy just coming off an injury who more likely than not (especially playing in b2b) will not have his legs for more than 15 minutes? If you would of said this is your play of the year because Rose averages 40 points against charlotte or another one of chicago's scoring threats...but to make a play of the year because a sub par player is coming off injury just seems a little suspect.
Throwing all numbers out the window bulls suck this year and charlotte has been playing damn good ball with jackson. Hope you win because im not touching this game.

Matter of fact you just made yourself look pretty damn stupid if u ask me... your telling me that Thomas is a downgrade from Gibson when you are wrong to say that how can you say that when Tyrus Thomas averaged 10+ppg and 6.4rpg last season and 10+ppg and 7rpg this season when this is Gibson rookie year he is averaging 8+ppg and 6+rpg... FYI Gibson is only averaging those numbers because he has had 22 games to fill in and the time had to go to somebody. I think now that both of tehm will be rotaing makes them even deeper tonight. Now you have every right to tell me I may be wrong for putting too much stock into Thomas nobody is ever right but you just proved your not very smart at all by adding thomas career avg number against gibsons one year umbers which in which thomas has only been here for 3 years and the first 2 he had a limited role (of course that will bring his umbers down dummy)...
come on man get real...

I pretty much figured that i should not have to point out the public view of this play being Rose is hot that should go without saying im looking deeper into this game thats all their is to it... BOL...
No matter what I say I will catch critizism for any play of this stature and thats about as fair as it gets...
FYI... Thomas is not playing like is too injured too me right now...

well at first i was being nice about it....your the idiot.
WHY WOULD I GIVE YOU ANY OTHER NUMBERS FROM GIBSON OTHER THAN WHEN HE STARTED THAT IS THE ROLE HE FILLED FOR THOMAS (AS A STARTER) WAS MISSING. Why in the world would i give you his averages coming off the bench playing in 5 minutes a game...come on give me a break. and i never said thomas was a downgrade...i said anyone would rather have thomas than gibson but I WOULD NOT rather have a guy LIKE THOMAS coming off an injury over a healthy guy like gibson.
They are very similar players and when it comes down to it i would rather have a healthy player on back to back over a guy who isn't that great on back to back just coming off an injury.
and you get on my stats about gibson playing in 22 games this year...well guess what you gave me tyrus thomas average this year and he has only played in 9. Last time I checked averaging numbers over more games is tougher than less. So Gibson averaging similar numbers to Thomas over 22 games to Thomas's 9 help prove my point even more.
I love it when guys post stuff on covers and provide reasons to back up there pick. Then when someone says something logical to counter there pick they get destroyed for it. I was just trying to help now i hope they get destroyed to prove you wrong.
