Hey,
I'm new here, I don't really understand the abbreviation & particularitys of NBA bets.
He bet the Mavs to lose by no more than 4.5 points. ("+" means you are receiving points). So if the Mavs lost 100-96, the bet is won (because they only lost by 4 or less). Btw, The Mavs actually won by 50, so of course, the bet was won. To recap, if you are betting a team with "+" points, you take the actual score for that team and ADD that number of points. Then compare it to how many points the other team actually scored. If the total for your team (Plus the points you were given) is more, you win your bet. If less, you lose. If there is a tie, your bet is refunded - no win or loss.
In the case of the "Wizards -12", this means you subtract that many points from the actual score of the Wizards. Then compare it to how many points the other team actually scored. If the total for your team (minus the points you had to give) is more, you win your bet. If less, you lose. If there is a tie, your bet is refunded - no win or loss.
The "5x" that he uses defines the size of his bet. Bettors use "units". A unit may be $10 for some....it may be $1,000 for others - depending on the bettor's comfort level. So a "5x" bet means he is betting 5 units on this game. (Of course you can bet anything you want!) Obviously the more "units" a bettor places on a game, the more confident they are in it. But again, you should only bet with what you are comfortable with.

Thank you mate, I appreciate your answer! You helped me sooo much.
Just a little last thing, for the bet n°2 (Wizards -12 -105 (3x))
The final score is 119-95.
So, 119 - 12 = 107, this one is ok. But about the -105, it's not win, right ?

Ugh, I don't know how to edit my last message. Sorry for the double post.
I still don't understand this :
What is -106, -105, -120 ? Final score of the team ?
Mavericks won by 118 points, so the -106 bet failed ?
Sorry again, & thank you²
