I can’t, for the life of me, understand how people consider Lebron one of the best ever, let alone the GOAT.
You would never ever see Kobe or MJ give up on as many plays or make as many boneheaded mistakes (what the F was that letting the ball roll all the way down just to mishandle it out of bounds) as Lebron has. Even in Kobe’s worst seasons in LA, circa 05-07, with talent like Smush Parker, he willed his team to win games.
I had no side in this game, but this was hard to watch.

Post #12 Had I known Ingram was going to be out last game, I wouldn’t have played LA against the Clips. This team has been injured enough and to lose a guy that is averaging 30 points a game over the last 2 weeks on top of everyone else who was out was too much to overcome. People overreact to losses way too much – the Lakers with Ingram on the court, will look like an entirely different team tonight. The Lakers have been struggling lately, but with Ingram and Lebron both on the court together, this team has gone 8-4 ATS at home over the past 12 games. Brandon is a very underrated piece to this Lakers team. Denver meanwhile, is 27-6 at home this year, but just 15-15 on the road. Denver is nothing but an average team away from their huge home-court advantage. I like the Lakers to win this game tonight.Post #19It's always to win unless its a Moneyline underdog play such as tonight. Therefore it is risk 1 unit to win 2.05 units. Sure, the lakers are 8-4 in their last 12 homes games with Ingram and James but there's multiple reasons why that stat mean nothing and using it is awful capping.
1. The most obvious, 12 is such a random number, it's like those cappers who say they're 9-3 over their last 12 games. (I have a ton of respect for you for not doing that) Okay, great but how did game13-20 go, probably not great. Upon closer look the Lakers are 8-9 with BI and Lebron on the floor for the season, and all but three of those games were before Christmas. So you cherry picked the stats to convince who that they were really good with BI and Bron? Yourself?
2. Ingram didn't even play, yet this seemed to be a major factor in you decision making
3. It's painfully clear the lakers gave up after the Bucks game. To be exact on the KCP failed inbounds play. They didn't show up against phoenix or the clippers, why would they show up tonight? They're 1-6 ATS since the ASG.
I still love you LC and I'll ride with you any day but this pick just baffled me.

Lakers will be lucky to go 4-13 in their remaining 17. Their easiest games left are with the Bulls, Pistons, Wizards, Knicks, Nets, Pelicans, Kings & Hornets. They'll struggle to to go even with them, and struggle to get a single win against the others I didn't mention.

The Lakers were the wrong side here, sure, but just doing Ana analytical assessment of games LIKE this game in terms of power ratings and trends, they were obviously the right side, they warranted a large play. This is why we don’t win every time.

Like the pick LC and I thought they would be playing with the highest level of focus. This was their nail in the coffin. I don't see how they overtake the Clippers, let alone the Kings. So I thought they would be playing like they realized that.
