That stat is not right.

Doc Rivers is 2-14 in close out game 6's when his team leads a series 3-2.  He has already lost 2 Game 6's in these playoffs when up 3-2. Where the hell did you find that atrociously incorrect statistic?

The sad thing is this man is actually gambling his hard earned money based on stuff that isnt even remotely true.  Hell, he'll probably win while the rest of us who know what they're doing - will lose.

Can you read? Did you read the original post?  He said Boston is 36-2 in Game 6's when leading a series 3-2...THEY HAVE ALREADY LOST 2 GAME 6'S WHEN UP 3-2 THESE PLAYOFFS. Even if you disregard the Doc RIvers stat (which is completely accurate)...do you really believe Boston was 36-0 in Game 6's when up 3-2 before 2012?

so to recap and sum it all up...


the original post was essentially correct, although misleading... in a 7 game series, when taking a 3-2 lead, Boston WINS THE SERIES 95% of the time (36-2)... however, that does not mean they WIN GAME 6 95% of the time...

however, when leading 3-2, they are 7-1 all-time AT HOME in game 6...

the Doc Rivers 2-14 stat is completely irrelevant, since most of those stats came when he was not coaching Boston... then again, the 36-2 is only mildly relevant, since many of those series took place in the 60's and 70's... so other than attributing that to their home crowd advantage, it doesn't really have anything to do with this series...

2010 against LAL

2009 against Chicago

2008 against Atlanta and Cleveland.
