After a 50 pt blowout is there any way in hell you can back the Grizz? With that being said I want to bet okc -14. OKC even won the fourth quarter with backups. Do we just lay -14 again. If I don’t lay it’s a no bet: I’m not betting Memphis. Just wondering if this is the best play on the board. It’s what I like the most. Thoughts ???

Also, my apologies to Richiepicks for posting my nonsense in your thread.
As For OKC….. that team is a monster. Not sure if I would fade them at home. But if Memphis doesn’t make adjustments…. It’s going to be a short series.

For me it’s either OKC or no play. Can’t back a team that just lost by 50 without a real coach. There’s absolutely no guarantee they rebound. I bet against OKC about 10 times this year, and let me tell you, it’s not fun. This team is well coached, everyone knows their role, very organized on the floor. Memphis has to have a ton of things go right just to cover.

9/10 games on the weekend were decided by 10 points or more. I wouldn’t let a 10 point spread deter you from taking a team you like in the last 5 or so years, even in the playoffs. These games are rarely close anymore, it’s just whoever gets hot from 3. I don’t know how these games are fun for anyone to watch, to be honest.

Fade Memphis. OKC should have been everyone's best play bar none. Experience or not, these guys play D and are deep. Memphis is weak off the bench. Sweep.

You get a pass if you post occasional nonsense cuz you initiated a lot of good discussion which is important for winning, and there ain't nothing better than winning. There are dopamine researchers who would confirm this till their dying breath

The problem is if OKC gets a 8 point or more lead. The don’t stop after that point. Pedal to the floor until it’s over. Can Memphis stop that from happening again?

The Grizzlies have had to travel after each of their previous 8 games. They obviously hit a major wall on Sunday. Finally they didn't have to board a plane after Game 1.
I don't believe a Game 2 home team can muster forth anywhere near the intensity they brought to a Game 1 win that they won by a hundred or so, and I know (from seeing it happen so many times) that their humiliated opponent always shows up for Game 2 ready to compete.
I'm on the Grizzlies +14.5 -105.

game 2 has back-door-cover written all over it. possibly the greatest trap of the season.
No, not a backdoor cover. I think the Grizzlies will stay within the number the whole game. We may have a competitive situation for four quarters tonight in Oklahoma City!

If Memphis has any pride and heart whatsoever they will put forth their best effort tonight... I'm with Bator +14.5 for me. And I love OKC and hate betting against them, but I think this is the right situation.
