USA wins Gold Medal -325 Field wins Gold Metal+275 TeamRoster: Kobe Bryant LeBron James Dwyane Wade Carmelo Anthony Chris Paul Deron Williams Dwight Howard Chris Bosh Michael Redd Jason Kidd Tayshaun Prince
Carlos Boozer
$1,000.00 for $307.69 is a little bit risky. But with this team on an absolute mission to get the gold I see very few challenges standing in the way. My Starting 5: Coach K if you see this just do what I say, no questions. PG-Chris Paul 2nd-Deron Williams 3rd-Jason Kidd SG-Kobe 2nd-Dwyane Wade 3rd-Michael Redd SF-King James 2nd-Carmelo Anthony 3rd-Tayshaun Prince PF-Chris Bosh 2nd-Carlos Boozer C-Dwight Howard 2nd-? only question mark My book has the bet closing on 7/31/08, I would wait and see what the line does but I see it going nowhere but up. As long as no NBA refs are involved I think I'm good.

I couldn't lay that kind of juice. This year's team is better, but is it overwhelmingly better to lay -325?? I don't feel that way.
2002 World Championship: finished 6th among 16 teams. Reggie Miller, Paul Pierce, Ben Wallace, Jermaine O'Neal, Shawn
Marion, Baron Davis, Antonio Davis, Michael Finley, Andre Miller, Jay
Williams, Elton Brand, Raef LaFrentz (Coach: George Karl)
2004 Olympic Games: finished 3rd among 12 teams. Tim Duncan, Allen Iverson, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Amare
Stoudemire, Shawn Marion, Carlos Boozer, Carmelo Anthony, Stephon
Marbury, Richard Jefferson, Lamar Odom, Emeka Okafor (Coach: Larry
Brown)
2006 World Championship: finished 3rd among 24 teams. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Antawn Jamison, Brad
Miller, Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh, Elton Brand, Shane Battier, Kirk
Hinrich, Chris Paul, Joe Johnson. (Coach: Mike Krzyzewski)

At that kind of juice, you are better off just betting the individual games. Also, keep in mind that when the games start, the lines are going to be inflated as Vegas knows they will get a ton of US action no matter the spread. So fading the US ATS should be a profitable angle when the tourney starts up. I remember the Olympic qualifying tourney (I think it was a year ago) and the US laying an insane amount of points in all the games. And they didn't cover many of them.
Somthing to keep in mind.
