What do you think about betting on the Orlando ML with around 7 units only to win 2 units?
Is Orlando a guaranteed win against Philly tonight without thaddeus young and lou williams?

Didn't you hear what the man just said? They should be laying 15.

It's already been established on at least 12,000 occasions in just the past year that the NBA is full of crap.

This particular set up is a little too cozy for squares everywhere. The last two times we saw the Magic, they were embarrasing the proud Spurs by 26 points on ESPN, and the next night we watched them win and cover for the public in Miami on TNT. Meanwhile, the Sixers spent the past weekend first suffering the indignity of losing to the pathetic Bricks at MSG (and that was with David Lee sidelined) and then getting dusted on their home floor by the Terri-Bulls.
The forever struggling Sixers have endured a wretched month of March while the Magic have been stomping the competition the last three weeks. The month began for both teams with the Magic easily walloping Philly in Philly by 21 points. You'd think the oddsmakers would make sure that Magic backers paid through the nose tonight for the privilege of laying the points with this great team against this shit team, yet they put this line out at a modest-looking 6.5. Are the oddsmakers stupid or are they smart? I'm going to bet that they're smart.
This line has now swelled up to 8.5. I'm going to take these points and not watch one minute of this game unless I'm still in it come the fourth quarter.

I lied. I watched the first four minutes. I liked Philly's effort but I didn't appreciate Samuel Dalembert bricking a pair of free throws and then having to watch Dwight Howard swishing a pair.

MrB, this is from another sports gambling forum...it involves the ATS records of a playoff-bound team versus a lottery team so far this season:
At Home
49-2 SU (losses Toronto vs Philly on 3/7 and Dallas vs NY on 3/13)
24-27 ATS
33-16-2 1st Half ATS
On the Road
29-8 SU
24-12-1 ATS
17-17-3 1st Half ATS
this makes me think twice about backing the sucky-ass Nets
