Sir, is there any credence to Warriors dumping this game to not only keep Mavs out of the playoffs but also perhaps get Ws to 6th spot thus avoiding 5 spot and a 1st round matchup w/ #4 Suns thus playing 1st round vs in state rookie playoff no defense rival #3 Kings? 

seems like a Warriors v Suns 1st round would be a nightmare for the NBA as popular Durant or Curry get bounced early, makes more sense to have Ws v Kings and Phx v hapless Clips w/out PG3 thus giving opportunity for stars to advance

Yes, there is. I realized this last night while looking at the standings. That is why, despite the Thunder being on an 0-7 ATS swoon and despite them letting me down on Sunday against the hated Suns, I unloaded today on the Thunder +8 and +290.

Not that the Warriors will “dump” this game because they’d rather not face the Suns. It’s more of a case of them lacking motivation to improve their seeding, which I guess is a polite way of stating that they’d rather not face the Suns, lol.

That loss in Denver was mighty discouraging. The Warriors were in complete control at 46-31, and then for no apparent reason they lost their focus like they always seem to when playing on the road. They desperately needed a quality road win heading into the playoffs, and instead they dropped to 2-20 on the road vs. teams above .500. That’s just sad.

So are we supposed to believe that the Warriors will simply shake that off and play great at home again? I don’t think it’s happening this time. This time I think they’ll fall behind at home (as usual) and then…..there’ll be no comeback.

on another note: seems like Pops is on a reunion farewell tour, Kerr called off the dogs on him, Mike Brown laid his team down now he has former asst Monty as a 20pt fav? I think Pops retires in the Summer with no fanfare farewell tour so his former coaches know this and give him his due, perhaps a 2nd half Spurs play is in order

if Gsw lost this game will down to #7

i am not going against anyone. gsw are one of the best home teams, okc looking weak lately, wiggins coming back soon from a non-injury soon so pretty sure gsw will be ok  with whatever seed they get, i personally dont know anything about the warriors mind set and their desire to tank or not tank.

That’s okay. For the Warriors, having to face the Grizzlies is still preferable to seeing the Suns.

This small lead for the Thunder would be a double-digit lead if not for their pathetic free throw shooting (7-13). Meanwhile the Warriors are 100%.

Correction, the Thunder are 8-13 from the line. Still terrible while the SJWs are 6-6.

Warriors being down Double Digits at home in the 1st quarter is a bad thing for OKC....It just means they will come back and not only win but cover the spread...Go see their last 10 home games..I think 8 of them fell into this scenario...

Interesting idea. The Suns gave up much of their 20-point halftime lead last Friday against the Nuggets backups.

The Warriors are hot from behind the arc (9-18) and they still can’t quite keep up.

The Warriors are now 10-19 from downtown after that latest Curry three and they’re still chasing the Thunder, 58-52.

Now 11-20. Damn Curry again.
