Seriously I don&#x2019;t get some of you matter fact I don&#x2019;t get any of you on this forum how is nobody on this site talking about Toronto losing by exactly 10 points I had $25,000 lost tonight because of a half a point and not one soul on this website has talked about it it cannot be everybody has clippers -9.5 no shot I don&#x2019;t want to hear it I don&#x2019;t care it&#x2019;s just funny and amusing how not a souls posted about how absolutely 100% for a fact scripted that ending was that and then look like it came out of a movie written by the NBA cosigned by Las Vegas give me a break bunch of losers Toronto players can all die I wouldn&#x2019;t lose a ounce of sleep I swear losers all losers followed the script u get the ball last six seconds of game u get fouled and u throw the ball away out of bounds like rly like are u serious must be kidding me and Matt Thomas I hope u die u were the culprit threw the ball away nobody touched u why not shoot it instead of throw it away wht because then u would have covered the spead and Vegas would have been pissed like Seriously just die kill yourself and u losers on this site not speaking about it idk man somethings up u people suck !!! ...Raptors had a 5 point lead heading into the 4th.....The line was &#x2B;10 for 90% of the day...Closed @ &#x2B;9.5 for the Raptors...I mentioned it on another thread..bad spot for the Raptors..playing in 3rd game in 4 nights on the road missing 2 key players...they were bound to run out of gas...

&#xA;There are times when we WIN by the hook and times where we LOSE by the hook. &#xA;&#xA;Last night, they got 10 points and won STRAIGHT UP. How this pertains to the original poster, you don&#x27;t think it&#x27;s strange that odds makers would give you the same number of points again? Seems like the line was begging for Toronto money..  Everybody and their mother thought it&#x27;d be an easy cover. It wasn&#x27;t but as with most of sports betting, it depends on WHEN you got a particular line. It&#x27;s just unlucky that you grabbed it at -10.5. In all honesty, I thought that they were going to win in a "blow out" fashion of 15&#x2B; points and easily over the original -10.5 but the story has already unfolded.. &#xA;BOL in your future wagers..

Betting that much money is highly not recommended, ill-advised and downright irrational. So much can go wrong with one pick and once you lose an astronomical amount like that, that's it.

You got to set way lower limits on how much you spend wagering and not blame and point fingers at people and persons you bet on when you take an L.

This thread is illustrative for why you MUST MUST MUST use bankroll management...

You cannot look at a game...become emotionally attached to it and wager a massive percentage or all of your bankroll on it...

NOTHING IS GUARANTEED...NOTHING IS A LOCK...

Your next breath on this planet is not a 100% proposition...the percentage that you will die today or tomorrow is not 0%...

You must make every wager with the absolute factual knowledge that you COULD LOSE IT...

Why is it so important to understand this concept?...because it is the ONLY way you will EVER have a chance to win long term in sports gambling..

The books win because of gambler impulsivity...emotions...undisciplined wagering...they know that most gamblers will make mistakes at a level that they will always be losers in the long term...and the books pockets are deep enough to get them past the short term winning streaks these players will have...

Just like in the casino...you win some and then you give it all back...

You cannot be "results oriented"...you must have a process and stick to it...grind it out...it sounds very boring to say that you can only wager 1%-5% of your bankroll on any give single wager but that is the process...

Yesterday, I had SF 1st half -3.5, Dallas vs Boston 2nd half over 113 both bad beats. Then on Sunday, I had Milwaukee 2nd half -9, up huge in the 4th and somehow this bet loses to a meaningless 3 at the buzzer. I could go on and on...

There are bad beats in sportsbetting daily, you just have to pick more winners than losers. That's the key. Don't go all in on one play and cry about it.

I&#x27;m sorry you lost your bet. However I&#x27;m seeing a lot of threads  with people saying games are scripted how can the spread be 9.5 and it land on 10. First thing yes many games land on or near the spread. Vegas has people who make a lot of money who&#x27;s entire careers are based off of making accurate spreads not to mention all the computer programs which go into it. But what I never hear is anyone talking about how many games every night in every sport come nowhere near the spread or total. These are the games you wanna try to get on it happens night in night out. Bol to you in the future!

So... you can bet $25,000 a game but don't shop lines?? There was plenty of +10 Tor out there.. that's what I had and I am a much smaller player than that.
That half point was a push and all you had to do was look for the best line.
