Hello guys here we are very happily starting what I'll call "Phase 2" of my new way of sports betting.
Phase 1 was a simple plan. A $5,000 bankroll betting 10%/play looking to double up or go bust. Most (95%+) of all my plays are NBA totals system plays from a few angles/systems Ive put together the last few months. My money management systems also theoretically erases all juice so my goal was to go 10 games over .500 equaling in a double.
Here are Phase 1's results : Beginning Bankroll - $5000 Current Bankroll - $10,544 +110.9% Record - (43-32) 57.3% +$5544
So 11 games over .500 and 57.3% in 22 days, honestly much better and quicker than I expected. Im realistically looking for a 52-54.5% longterm winning percentage and with my volume of plays that's just fine.
So heres the plan for Phase 2 :
Ive said all along that if I was lucky enough to double that I was gonna return the original $5,000 investment to my savings account and then play with the $5,000 profit. However after a long night looking at all my options Ive changed my mind. I did this so I could try + make some real serious money in the next few seasons and starting over at $5,000 just doesnt fit into that strategy right now. So I will still playing the whole $10,500 roll but slightly less aggressive in hopes nothing terrible happens.
Heres the deal :
Starting Bankroll for Phase 2 = $10,544
I will be playing 7.5%/game of this bankroll which is approx $790/game, therefore I will begin at $800/game. The goal is to get 6 games over .500 and cross the $15,000 mark. If/once that point is reached my bet amount will go to $1,000 until I hopefully reach the $20,000 mark. Once/If I reach the $20,000 mark that will be the end of "Phase 2". Also, if I go bust that will obviously be the end of Phase 2.
A few quick things about my thought process and hopes here. Right now Im gonna be betting about 7.5%/game, that leaves me about 13 games of "wiggle room" so to speak before I would go bust, ie a 0-13 or any point 13 games below .500 would "bust" me. I honestly dont feel Im gonna endure that kind of downswing with these solid system plays Ive been researching. If I get to $15,000 I'll have 15 games.
I do not like raising up the bet amounts immediately after a nice little run but noone knows when runs start and end and even if I give 3-5 games back early on here in Phase 2 I wont abandon the system and I also dont feel Ive ever be in the danger zone at all (down 50% or more). Famous last words yes I know, 13 game downers happen often, but not often enough for this to not work more often than not IMO.
Ok gimme a little bit to get my bets in and I'll be back with tonite's games, 4 games tonite

That's a pretty damn impressive money management / system. Good lookin' out on your book-keeping. GL on your plays... I'm on the other-side of the TORONTO Over though.

Ya I stated in my other thread that I wasnt too entirely thrilled with this pick but all my NBA totals picks are from the systems, so I gotta bet them whether I like them or not or it defeats the whole purpose of the system. GL tonite

I swear to god your one of these members with multiple accounts3 out of 4 wrong is pretty lame. Whats your picks for tomorrow fuck stick??
Fade time my way to money with this clown
HAHAHA! You sound like you're angry cuz you tailed his picks and lost. It's just one day. 3 out of 4 wrong happens all the time. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Although, I think the OP is betting too much per play, it's his money and he basically acknowledged that he's taking a shot. I've pondered a similar strategy for a quick bankroll double-up, but it's a bit too risky for me. I'd do this maybe with like a 5% stake per bet. I could afford a 0-20 streak before I go bust.

Why do people have to be so rude. Bobbys_Pregame did your parents teach you how to treat people? Don't act like you have never had a losing day. It happens. If you have never had a losing day more power to you and I congratulate your success.
TEAMTOTALS keep up the good work!!!! In the 3 losses did anything jump out at you that your system didnt pick up??
Thanks, TheBlackPope

Thx for the support but assclowns like Bobby are always around gambling messageboards. He hasnt posted once in the last 23 days while I turned $5,000 into $10,500 but I have one bad night and he's on here calling me all kinds of names talking shit. Definition of loser bud
As far as if anything stuck out in the losses last nite not really, just the 1/2 point loss in the Denver game
Will have 5 plays tonite, be back in a few to post them after I get my bets in, GL and thx

Im new to checking out your picks, but how are you getting rid of the juice that you were talking about?
Its really pretty simple and its something Ive showed literally 100 people and noone has employed it because it takes discipline. Its called "sopping the juice" and I read it in a Bob McCune book about 15 years ago. If youre really interested in the actual Xs and Os about it send me a friend request and I'll talk to you via PM or email about it
