well gang, the stench from the sty is much better today after a trough full of baseball totals, all over, FG and F5 came in to shrink the wagering deficit. throw in a few winning in game wagers, mixed in with a losing in game wager, and it was a stellar night for those following the thread... for the two playoff games tonight....i dont really have a feel for either of them, so i will keep my powder dry and await and in game opportunity as i see the games unfolding.. in bases i do like these plays OVER F5 in the dodgers and seattle games, and also OVER for the full game, same two...in the case of the dodgers...josh beckett ( 8 home runs allowed already) squares off against brandon mccarthy. both hurlers have gotten off to very slow starts and in recent outings, things have only gotten worse for both..the Dback bullpen has been nothing short of a volatile liquid, so the full game over is in play, i think... up in seattle, we have aaron harang trying to resurrect his career after making a detour to lost angeles on his way to the american league...ummmmm, thats not going so well with an ERA north of 8 and over 9 his last 3 starts and a WHIP of 1.68. throw in the starter for pittsburgh james mcdonald, and we have the possibility of spontaneous combustion with his WHIP of 1.69 and ERA over 6...even these 2 light hitting teams should push across 4 runs in 5 innings for a push at worst...to be fair to mcdonald, his batting average against is very respectable, around .250. BUT he has walked 20 of the 138 batters he has faced and given up 29 hits for an on base percentage of .377 by the opposition... if it stays under, so be it, but over looks like the only play to this old pig... after typing all this, i double check numbers and find the pirates have JUST changed pitchers ...jeanmar gomez.....hes got better numbers, but im staying with the over in seattle and pittsburgh...

Looking over the card now, Pig. I don't know much about Gomez though I don't disagree with your Pitt over. However, inter-league play is tough to cap due to the lack of familiarity between the teams which you could argue benefits the pitching or hitting. In the meantime, two plays I like in the NHL...
Blackhawks -.5 1P (+165)...Captain Toews let his team know that they have to step up the intensity tonight and not let Minny dictate the pace of play. I suspect the Hawks will come out early and impose a more speed-oriented game which is what they're known for....much like they did in game 2.
Senators PL (+225)...as I've said many times before, I do not like playing PLs and do not encourage anyone tailing me on this one. However, having watched the previous game (which was one for the ages), I'm rolling the dice as I sense that the Sens want to twist the knife tonight and head back to Montreal up 3-1. Common sense would tell you that after a thorough arse-kicking, the Habs will be up for this one which could very well happen but, at this price, I'll take my chances.
Jays/Rays o8.5 (+100)...could it be that the Jays' bats are finally starting to warm up? I'm always leary of chasing a high scoring affair with another over, but neither Happ nor Hernandez/Carmona/whatever are exactly Cy Young. A 5-4 final is certainly not a stretch by any means.

Hey guys, having some good ones, but continuing to struggle in the bases. Sox only winning by 1 burned my BIG play last night. For tonight....
1st 5 innings Tex -115 BIG. Grimm has been great and Peralta suspect. Mil struggling to hit, but have their days, which explains the cheap line. 1st 5 innings Under 4 -125 StL/Cubs BIG. Both pitchers have been top notch, and with the wind blowing in 4 is a great number for under. 1st 5 innings Cinc -120 MEDIUM. Not a big fan of Homer, but he's been pitching well at home, and Medlen dropped 3 straight with "mechanical" issues. Expect Cinc to bounce back after last night's loss. Bos -1.5 +105 MEDIUM. Dempster been pitching well, but so has Diamond. This is really just a "Sox due to beat the $%^&! out of somebody" play. Beware.
Will probably have a BIG play on Over Ariz/LAD. Just need to check a couple more things.

That over on Ariz/LAD has had me doing fits all day. I really like the pitchers for Over; especially that chicken-licker Beckett. But the reason I'm struggling with it is Ariz hasn't been hitting that well and Dodgers have lots of injuries (not a great lineup now). Do your numbers show it as an easy over taking the hitting into account?
