I guess I must be an old man! That handsome fella is non other than George "The Animal" Steele - perhaps one of my favorite WWF personalities of the "good 'ol days" of wrestling.
Some even older than me, may know him from his days with the Michigan Spartans

Knew it. Saw him wrestle a few times at Boston Garden in the late 70's. Believe he "fought" Chief J. Strongbow one time. Guy was great; used to bite the turnbuckles and act like a complete nutcase. But I also heard that he had a Masters and taught at some big university (maybe Harvard?)....

Yup, probably dead on that. They really do suck, you know. If they weren't the LA Lakers everyone would've written them off by now....

I'm kind of giving up on Lakers as well - loaded up on San Diego 2nd half to see if I can make up for FG and likely 2nd half fails in LA.

I have been playing NCAA 2nd halfs all day. What it seems to me is that if a dog is winning at half and they get half or better of the original spread again, they have been covering.
All else has to be equal - FG% and especially rebounding, and it has been hitting for me. We will see..SD was originally a 11 point dog and they got 10 at the half - seemed like a good number.

LMAO - BYU opens on 11-3 run 10 points are about gone!!! But in an odd twist of fate, the Lakers are still alive and four seconds from OT!!!!

So FG line was BYU -11, SD is winning at half, and you were getting SD +10 for 2nd half? Sounds like it was worth a play to me...

He loved the eat the turnbuckles and indeed had a nasty green tongue, but the best was when he would throw the "Lovely Elizabeth" over his shoulder and scoot her out of the ring.

He did all kinds of crazy sh*t. Out of all the nuts in the old days of wrestling, he was the top one. Definately entertaining....

I thought so. I hope they can keep it close. I have been reading alot about betting on bad teams being a losing proposition.
