Also, laying 10 with the Knicks tonight. Hard to bet against the Knicks during this shitty schedule stretch they have. They can't afford to sleepwalk through these games IMO.
Not even as a double-digit favorite, just 48 hours after completely demolishing their last Garden visitor?

I did. That was the day after Christmas, and my first thought the previous night (after the Heat had outlasted the Thunder) was that the Heat would have little energy and enthusiasm left for the Bobcats after going all out on national TV in the NBA Finals rematch against Oklahoma City. Then, the next morning, I began opening threads on Covers and quickly realized that my "little energy and enthusiasm" angle was shared by many. That wasn't a good sign. I then went back and looked at last season and recalled that the Heat had already been in a very similar situation in Charlotte, and they almost got burned! On December 27th, 2011, the Heat faced the Celtics in their home opener and won. The next night, they had to play in Charlotte as 10.5-point favorites. They fell behind 32-20 after one, 60-45 by halftime, and had to kick it up several notches in the second half just to claw out the "W." I figured that at least one of the players, or at least one of the Heat's dozen assistant coaches, had to have remembered that near miss from almost exactly a year ago and reminded everyone else about it. That night, the Heat jumped all over the Bobcats and led 55-38 at the half. The "Super Slick Covers.com NBA Dog Play of the Day" went down in predictable fashion, and my Covers brothers had saved me once again.
Right. And I love how they tried to comeback and not lay down in the 2nd half. Just hope Heat really don't give a fuckk about this tonight, at least early.

yea.... and taking bobcats for the whole game is not something id feel comfortable with, miami can play just 5 minutes of interested ball and cover the 15 on a late 20-3 run
Yes, this is a possibility. Bobcats bettors, as always, have your barfbag within arm's reach.

I get it, but they're just so deep right now, with barely any injuries, and look to go on a nice streak here. I guess 10 points is a lot, but with the Pistons tough loss yesterday, and the fact that the refs are 11-2 ATS for the home team this season when the home team is favored by 10+ points makes me like the Knicks in this spot.

about chemistry, damn Pistons looks like team without chemistry even without Jose there, what to mess there? they don't have good ball handling PG to actually execute plays and Jose is pretty good at this one.
Wise move is taking the point like MrBator, but i like ML.
Didnt play bobcats because i cant stand watching they played, but think that they will cover. 14pt is huge following SuperBowl where as Battier said, they watched it together at Toronto and players gamble the superbowl match against each other, its quite clear that they are pretty relaxed.

Pistons b2b? You taking them b/c of Calderon.. who might even ruin their team chemistry. Drummond may be a beast on the boards but he can't rly score lol and even if he does slow down Amare Knicks still got JR smith.. Felton.. oh and MELO lol. Who's going to stop Melo?.MAYBE pistons cover but it's more likely a Knicks blow out. Gotta say you're crazy if you think Pistons beating Knicks at MSG and Idk how you can say Magic have no shot at beating sixers when you think the Pistons going to be Knicks. I'll start following every one of your picks if you're right.
i also play Pistons spread..
and Magic is without all of their star player and their bench outside Nik is quite worthless, cant compare them with Pistons without any notable injuries..
I'm taking Pistons because they have PG that could utilize Monroe and Drummond well on Calderon.
who stops Amare? well Pistons cant even stops struggling Pau so they lost to Lakers 97-98, you can go all day asking who stops who..

I like taking the Pacers at home off a loss, or as a home dog, but not as a favorite off a double-digit win and cover. I'm usually high on the Bulls because their head coach is the opposite of Mike D'Antoni. I considered this game all day, and finally went for it when I saw the Bulls flip to +6 at one key spot in Vegas (although I was unable to get that number).

I went under 105.5 in the first half to win 1 unit, but I just added 2
units to that after noticing that mellow-wolf has this game under. The Thunder are 0-5 O/U this season.at home in the first
half when playing off a loss. In those five games the total points scored were 91, 95, 88, 89,
and 92.
