saw all his misses...but they were all close to going in ie. rolled out of the rim...except one attempt...that just hit the back of the rim.

I've always been one to brush it off when people say games are fixed but the more I watch the NBA lately the more I believe this and tonight's game did it for me. How does Wade go 0-6 from the line....I mean even Dwight Howard would have hit a few. 

Then down by 10 with 55 seconds you don't foul, really? What if he misses both FT and you go down the court and score right away??

Have none of you played sports in your life? Crying about point shaving? They were favoured by 8 points and lost straight up.  Wades 6 free throws didn't affect the spread whatsoever.  Not to mention he shot 11/15 from the floor and had 23..... How is that point shaving?

I haven't looked at all his stats but I'll go out on a limb and say 11/15 is his best shooting performance of the year thus far.

We're talking about the point total. I had over 195.5 for the game....one more f'in basket and the game goes over. If Wade hits just 2 of 6 instead of none or if the Heat foul with a minute to go the game goes over.

Well, think of it this way....Say you were looking at the over and under for the Heat Knicks games.

Suppose I said to you, The Miami Heat will shoot 54% for the game, and make 9 3 pointers...The Knicks will shoot 53% and also make 9 pointers.

Tell me you all wouldn't take the over? They are high%...

As I maintain, overs and unders are determined by tempo and referees.....

Some days they run like they have a murderer after them, then for some reason, another day, they walk the ball and shoot very deep into the clock.

LOL you kids cry too much.  You cant perform at your best every game.  You have good nights and bad nights.  When dwight howard goes perfect from the line do you guys complain?  NO..... quit bitching cuz you lost your bet.

which is why i think under is the best bet for totals



teams shoot over 50% which is well over average , but it still goes under by 3 points

I didn't say sports are clean.  I'm just saying your logic doesn't make sense.  Wade is trying to fix this game to go under by missing all his free throws, but he shoots a season best from the field?

You also have to remember, if someone is to tamper with a game, they cannot make it too obvious...

What if he was 2-13 and missed 6 FTs?

They know what they are doing.

The funny thing in all this is, someone would have wrote a similar thread as the OP did in games Donaghy officiated in and people like you would have come in and called him a moron etc etc
